1. What the Feast Woke

The morning after the Wake-Feast, every bell on the mound-line rings at once — and stops. Maren goes pale: 'That's not the dead. That's what's been feeding on them.' The cult's papers name it too: the Hollow Saint, the order's own founder, hollowed out by something older. Her risen heralds are already on the mounds. Meet them.

Objectives

Rewards

2. The Counter-Rite

'She feeds on unquiet ground,' Maren says, spreading the old records across the chapel floor. 'So we starve her.' Every mound the heralds touched gets the full rite, tonight.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 8,000 Prayer XP
  • 6,000 gp

3. The Hand Revealed

The Hollowed Hand's go-betweens still walk the pilgrim crowds, marking mounds for their mistress with chalked sigils. Pick every marked coin and chalk-stick out of their robes before they finish the circuit.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 10,000 Thieving XP
  • 6,500 gp

4. Breaking the Circle

The chalk sigils form a circle around the whole barrow-field — a noose of unquiet ground, drawn tight. The cultists guarding its anchor-stones are flesh and blood. Break the circle.

Objectives

Rewards

5. The Ward-Metal

The records are explicit: only runite holds a ward against a hollowed saint — 'the metal that holds a note forever' holds a prayer the same way. The seam runs at the very bottom of the ridge. Mine it.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 10,000 Mining XP
  • 7,000 gp

6. Bars for the Boundary

The forge-choir works in shifts, hammering your runite into boundary-bars — one for every gap the broken circle left. Smelt them true; a flawed bar is a hole in the wall.

Objectives

Rewards

7. Keeper's Strength

Maren teaches you the last rite in the order's book — the Keeper's Ward, never performed in her lifetime. 'It asks more faith than most have.' Learn it the only way it can be learned: rite by rite, great bone by great bone, until the words stop feeling like words.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 8,000 Prayer XP
  • 7,500 gp
  • 36 gems

8. Consecration Fires

Each boundary-bar is driven home hot, quenched in pyre-ash, and sung over. The pyres must burn the whole length of the line while the choir works. Feed them yew.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 18,000 Firemaking XP
  • 7,500 gp

9. Her Hounds

The Saint answers the new boundary the only way she can — she sends the wrong-eyed wolves, all of them, at the weakest span. The order stands behind the bars. You stand in front of them.

Objectives

Rewards

10. Quieting the Breach

The hounds' rush left the weak span churned and unquiet — exactly what she wants. Re-settle it: great bones, full rites, no haste and no fear, while the fog watches you work.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 9,000 Prayer XP
  • 8,000 gp

11. Blessed Volleys

The watchtowers want arrows the Saint's dead can feel — adamantite heads, quenched in wardwater from the orchard. Fletch the towers full.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 11,000 Fletching XP
  • 8,500 gp

12. The Second Wave

At moonset she tries the boundary again — every herald she has left, shoulder to shoulder against the runite line. The bars hold. Make sure her heralds don't.

Objectives

Rewards

13. Provisions for the Siege

The order won't leave the boundary until this ends — which means feeding a siege-camp. The fleets stand ready one more time. Land swordfish for the line.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 65,000 Fishing XP
  • 9,000 gp

14. The Long Quieting

Between her assaults, the real work: mound by mound, name by name, you and the order settle every grave inside the boundary. Starve her of every voice she stole.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 9,500 Prayer XP
  • 9,000 gp

15. The Deep Seam's Last Gift

One span of boundary remains unbarred — the lychgate itself, which must be warded last and strongest. The seam has one more run of runite in it. Bring it up.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 11,000 Mining XP
  • 9,500 gp

16. The Hand's Last Men

The living cultists make their choice at the lychgate: rush the unbarred span before the ward closes. Some of them were the grave-robbers you met the first week. Finish it where it started.

Objectives

Rewards

17. No Voice Left But Ours

The last unquiet ground inside the boundary is the churned earth of the final battle itself. Settle it — every fallen cultist and every shattered herald, buried with the same rite, while the choir sings the Saint's own funeral hymn back at her.

Objectives

Rewards

18. The Saint-Ward Blade

The lychgate ward wants a keystone: a gilded adamantite blade, forged by the Keeper's own hand, driven into the gate-stone like a nail through the world. Forge and gild it.

Objectives

Rewards

19. The Keeper's Ward

Everything is in place. All that remains is the rite no living Keeper has performed — the Keeper's Ward, sung once around the whole boundary, a great bone sealed beneath every ward-stone. It will take everything your faith has learned. Perform it.

Objectives

Rewards

  • 10,000 Prayer XP
  • 11,000 gp
  • 40 gems

20. The Barrows, Hallowed

At dawn you speak the Keeper's Ward at the lychgate, and the boundary closes like a hand around the barrow-field. Starved of every unquiet voice, the Hollow Saint's presence gutters — not destroyed, but sealed beneath, where her own crypt waits for whoever dares finish this. The fog lifts. The bells ring themselves, once, gladly. Maren hands you the bell-key: the Hallowed Barrows are yours to keep now. Cast down her last shades as the sun clears the mounds.
