Global Launch

DragonScape Idle is in open beta. The global launch is the day the game goes out to everyone: the big public release. This page explains what it is, when it happens, why it works that way, and what you get for playing before it.

What it is

Right now the game is live and fully playable, but it is still in open beta. At the global launch it is released worldwide and promoted to a much wider audience.

  • Launch is a fresh start. Every account is reset: levels, items, gold and gems all start again from zero, so new and old players begin on the same day.
  • What you keep is what the GLOBAL tab shows: your launch reward in gems and the Open Beta banner. Both are explained below. Promo codes reset too, so you can redeem them again.
  • Nothing is locked behind it. No skill, quest or item waits for launch, and nothing needs claiming for the goal itself.
  • Launch week is a festival, with special rewards for everyone playing that week. What they are is announced closer to the day.

When it happens

There is no fixed date. The game launches when it reaches 500 daily players.

  • A daily player is someone who played that day.
  • The count is the rolling 7-day average, so one busy day does not trigger it. It follows the real trend.
  • The current figure is on the GLOBAL tab in the game, together with how many players are still needed.

Why a player goal and not a date

A launch is the moment most new players see the game for the first time. Launching with a busy community means they arrive to full leaderboards and a lively Discord rather than an empty world. A date can arrive before the game is ready for that crowd; a player goal cannot.

It also means every player can move the date forward. Inviting friends and voting for the game on listing sites are the two biggest ways to help, and both also add to your own launch reward.

Your launch reward

The GLOBAL tab shows Your global launch reward: a gem total that keeps growing until launch and is paid out on launch day, after the reset. It is what your time in the open beta turns into. It adds up six parts:

PartGemsNotes
Total level1 per levelYour total level just before the reset.
Days1 per dayEvery calendar day from the day you registered up to 6 October 2026, played or not. From 6 October 2026 on, only the days you actually play.
Early player2,000 or 500, once2,000 if you registered before 1 September 2026, otherwise 500 if you registered before 1 November 2026. You get one of the two, not both.
Invites1,000 per friendEach friend you invited who reached total level 500, up to 10 friends. On top of what the invite itself already pays.
Votes1 per 5 votesAll toplist vote sites together, rounded down. On top of the gems each vote already pays.
Patreon50% of each paid daily claim, againUntil launch, every daily claim as a paid supporter pays out twice: the gems on the day, and 50% of them again on launch day. That is +50 for Adventurer, +100 for Guild Member, +250 for Early Founder per day claimed.
  • You need an account. A guest save cannot receive the reward: connect Google or an email before launch day.
  • The card shows only the total. Tap How it is calculated to see each part.

The Open Beta banner

Everyone whose account was created before the global launch gets the Open Beta banner: a tag shown next to your name on the leaderboard and on your profile. It is permanent. Pick it in Settings → Your banner, or in your own profile on the leaderboard.

What changes at launch

  • The Pet Pass stops being free. Until launch it is free to activate in Shop → Daily. At launch the free pass ends and the pass costs a one-time $9.99. See Patreon and Pet Pass.
  • The early player bonus has its own cut-off, 1 November 2026, whether or not the game has launched by then.
  • New accounts no longer get the Open Beta banner.
  • Promo codes reset. Every code you redeemed in the open beta can be redeemed once more after launch, as long as the code is still running. Enter it again in Settings.
  • Every account is reset, then the launch reward is paid and the counter stops growing.

Invite friends

The GLOBAL tab has your personal invite link. You get 1,000 gems for each friend who reaches total level 500, up to 10 friends (10,000 gems). Your friend gets 250 gems for connecting Google or a verified email. Each friend who counts also adds 1,000 gems to your launch reward.

The invite reward was raised from 500 to 1000 gems on 16 October 2026. For a friend who was rewarded before that, you get the other 500 as an Inbox mail.
