Oct 23, 2026: KingBenjic's Stormcrowned Signet

A melee ring that grows with you · Italian, Indonesian and Chinese · gems for Discord boosters · charms sell · claim 500 gems

A blue ring crackling with lightning, named in honour of KingBenjic, one of our Patreon supporters.

  • It gives +10 Melee, plus +1 max hit for every 10 Melee levels. At Melee 99 it adds 14 to your max hit; the Ruby Ring adds 4.
  • It only works while you fight with Melee.
  • Find it in the Senshi Chest, which you get for clearing the Senshi Trials (Melee 55). Each chest has a 0.62% chance to hold it, about 1 in 162 clears.

Three new languages

  • The game is now available in Italian, Indonesian and Chinese. Choose your language in Settings.

Gems for Discord server boosters

  • Boosting our Discord server helps the server and the game get noticed by more players.
  • Boost it with Discord connected in the game, and your daily reward pays 25 extra gems on top of your Patreon tier. It has its own Server Booster row under Reward tiers.

Charms sell

  • Every charm now sells for 25,000 gold, so a spare charm is worth keeping for its gold. Hunter's Charm still can't be sold.

Open the number of chests you want

  • The chest popup has a new row between Open and Open All: pick how many chests to open with - and +, or type a number. It shows when you have 3 or more chests.

Events show up when you can reach them

  • A quest event now appears once you are within 3 story quests of unlocking it. An event you have started always stays visible. The Grand Survey appears after Tides of Trouble.

Smaller changes and fixes

  • The New unlocks card no longer covers the screen. It sits under the level-up banner, you can keep playing, and it closes after 12 seconds.
  • New unlocks shows plating once per tier, such as "Gold plating for Mithril gear", instead of a row for every piece.
  • With the Everember upgrade, Silver, Gold and Diamond plating now earn Firemaking XP too.
  • Recipes never use up the copy of an item you are wearing. Gear you wear but no longer own comes off when you load the game.
  • Auto-Equip Best keeps a complete gear set together outside a fight.
  • Players with something in the game named after them now have a Namesake tag on their profile.
  • The Grand Survey map is now painted.
  • Prospector's Fortune now explains its chance: +10% to find a precious node, which is Silver 60% of the time and Gold 40%.
  • The longbow tooltip now reads "+50% Arrow Damage". Each shot still uses one arrow.
  • The game reaches the loading screen faster, because fonts no longer hold it up.
  • Saves are better protected against damaged data.

Oct 22, 2026: Keith's Steady Hands

Keep your materials when a skill fails · a harder Grand Survey · smaller gold and silver quest asks · claim 2000 gems

A missed hammer strike no longer costs you the bar. This upgrade is named in honor of Keith, one of our Patreon supporters.

Keith's Steady Hands

  • When a skilling attempt fails, you keep the materials it would have used: bars, logs, herbs, bones, essence and fishing bait. Only the time is spent.
  • It covers Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, Firemaking, Runecrafting, Prayer, Brewing and the bait used in Fishing. Cooking already kept your food. A failed Farming harvest still uses its seed.
  • It works during offline progress too.
  • Buy it in the Shop under Permanent for 2000 gems once your total level reaches 750.

The Grand Survey returns, harder

  • Three new trails of 10 quests each: Trailhead, Deeprock and Coast, and The Grand Expedition. Every count is at least five times the July run, and there are no level quests.
  • Every quest still turns up a clue scroll and the gold is five times the July run. The first two trails end with 25 gems each, and the final quest of The Grand Expedition pays 250 gems.
  • Find it under Event Quests. It runs until 29 Oct 13:00 UTC.

Smaller gold and silver quest asks

  • Every quest step that asks you to mine or smelt silver or gold now asks for about half, in round numbers. Surprise the King now needs 175 silver ore and 140 Silver Bars, then 250 gold ore and 200 Gold Bars.
  • Quest steps that plate or craft with these bars are now paid for by bars from the quest before, with some spare for failed attempts.
  • If you are partway through one of these steps, you may be able to finish it right away.

Fairer ore and bar prices

  • Ore no longer sells for more than the bars made from it. Iron, Coal, Mithril and Adamantite Ore sell for less, and bars now sell for a little more than the ore that goes into them.

Auto-Equip Best picks gear for the fight

  • During a fight, Auto-Equip Best now picks the gear that kills the current monster fastest with your current fighting style. On weak monsters a Shortbow can beat a Longbow.
  • It checks again when the monster, the wave or your style changes. Gear you change by hand stays on until the next fight.

Smaller changes and fixes

  • The Wiki button now opens the page for the screen you are on, and it shows on phones too. Item and chest popups have their own Wiki button.
  • Choose seeds now shows how many of each crop you own.
  • Finishing an event trail now starts the next one, so your progress counts right away.
  • The Weekly Quester now smelts the bars an arrow task needs, mining the ore first. The quest board only offers tasks you can supply.
  • Auto Farmer keeps farming properly after your device sleeps with the game open.
  • A failed smithing attempt now makes a dull clunk instead of the anvil clang.
  • New Loot history: turn it on in Settings → Advanced customisation → Show Loot history, then press LOOT next to STOP. It is kept on this device only.
  • Monkfish is now spelled correctly.
  • Fixed a rare case where a new account could start with progress from the account used before it on the same device.

Oct 21, 2026: Threeli's Attuned Shard

Extra runes from the Wizard Tower · pin crops to a field · level-ups worth celebrating · claim 500 gems

A sliver of black and green crystal that hums when it is near a rune altar. The shard is named in honor of Threeli, one of our Patreon supporters.

Threeli's Attuned Shard

  • The three wizards of the Wizard Tower drop it: the Apprentice Wizard (8%, 1 to 2 shards), the Wizard (12%, 2 to 4) and the Mystic Mage (15%, 3 to 6).
  • Each successful runecraft uses one shard and gives you 1 extra rune, on top of the Runic Core.
  • A new switch on the Runecrafting screen turns the shards on or off. It starts on, so turn it off to save your shards for higher runes.
  • It works during offline progress too.

Pin a crop to a field

  • With the Auto Farmer, each field now has a pin button. Pin a crop and that field always replants it, while your other fields follow your usual seed choice.
  • Handy for keeping quest seeds on two or three fields and XP crops on the rest.

Level-ups worth celebrating

  • Reaching a new level now shows a bigger banner.
  • A new window lists what the level unlocks, with a button that takes you straight to the skill. A quest that opens a new skill shows it the same way.

Fixes and smaller changes

  • The Weekly Quester now fights for a material that only drops in combat, such as Cowhide for a Leather Body, instead of skipping the task.
  • An item's DPS in its tooltip now matches the number Auto-Equip Best uses to pick your weapon.
  • Crafted D-hide gear now needs the same level to wear as it needs to craft.
  • Smithing, fletching and runecrafting no longer count toward crafting quest steps, such as Handiwork in Fisha's Secret Staff. The Pets Guild quest Sage's Altar now counts runecrafting only.
  • The Apothecary quest A Brewer's Hand now needs Brewing 10 and 270 steals from the Farmer.

Oct 20, 2026: Niks' Lucky Socks

New Prayer boots from Saints of the Barrow · quest tabs and an Inbox button · claim 500 gems

One sock is always slipping, and somehow the bones land in it. These socks are named in honor of one of our Patreon supporters.

Niks' Lucky Socks

  • New Prayer boots. Wear them in your Prayer feet slot.
  • Each successful bone offering has a 10% chance to give its bone back. You still get the full Prayer XP, and the offering still counts for quests.
  • Only the offering's own bone comes back, not the extra bones from the Gravekeeper's Spade or the Bone Burier.
  • They work during offline progress too.
  • Earn them by finishing Saints of the Barrow, the Prayer side quest in the Hallowed Barrows. They are the reward for its last quest, The Ninth Saint.
  • Already finished Saints of the Barrow? Your pair is waiting in your inventory.
  • Found a pair as a drop in the last update? You keep it. The socks no longer drop from offerings.

Also new since the last news

  • Quests now have three tabs: Quest, Dailies and Events. Every live event has its own card in the Events tab.
  • A new envelope button at the top of the screen opens your Inbox and shows how many messages are unread.
  • If you linked Discord as a supporter, the Discord button now opens the server directly.
  • Tapping Start on a "Reach Exploring" quest step no longer restarts the survey you are already running.

Oct 19, 2026: The Rose Crown

A new Farming headpiece · bonus crops from your harvests · talk to me in the Inbox · fairer play · Patreon catch-up · claim 500 gems

Legend says the Bandits of the Shadow Forest stole a crown of violet roses from Princess Rose. Now you can take it back.

The Rose Crown

  • A new Farming headpiece. Wear it in your head slot while you farm.
  • Each successful harvest can give you 1 extra crop, picked at random from every crop you have unlocked.
  • Longer crops give a bigger chance: the crop's grow time divided by 24 hours, up to 100%. Wheat (1 hour) gives about 4%, Pumpkin (12 hours) 50%, and Dragon Pepper (24 hours) always gives one.
  • Compost, potions, gear and events that speed a crop up do not lower the chance, so a faster field gives you more bonus crops each day.
  • It works with Harvest All, the Auto Farmer and offline progress.
  • Bandits (level 30) in the Shadow Forest drop it, 1 in 1000 kills. A spare one sells for 10000 gp.

Talk to me in the Inbox

  • You can now write to me from the Inbox or from Settings, Contact support. You need to be signed in.
  • When I send you a message that allows replies, you can answer it right in the Inbox.
  • I read every message, so this is the best place for a bug report or a question about your account.

Fairer for everyone

  • A save restored from a backup now starts its offline time at the moment of the restore, so it no longer pays out hours of free progress.
  • I closed a hole that let store gems be taken without paying.
  • The server now checks more of what a save sends, to stop forged progress and rewards.

Patreon supporters

  • If you supported the game on Patreon before you linked Patreon in the game, you now get the patron daily gems for the days you supported before linking, up to one year. They come with your next Daily claim.

Active buttons take you there

  • Tap Active on a quest step or a Quest Board task to open the activity that is running.
  • In Combat, the Active tag on a monster or dungeon brings its fight into view.
  • Tapping the Active tag on a skill row no longer stops the action.
  • Cooking and Thieving now have a red Stop button, like every other skill.

Fixes

  • Out of Feathers while fletching or brewing? The game now offers a Feather Pack or a fight with Chickens.
  • Master of the Brew no longer promises an apron. The chain never gave one.
  • A Stocked Cellar now says two of each, matching the objectives.
  • "Use any potion" steps show the Brewing icon.
  • Total Healing in Thieving is readable again in forced dark mode.

Oct 18, 2026: Smarter Auto-Eat and a Fairer Quest Board

Our Discord server tag · auto-eat tops you up · quest board fixes · Keep screen on · pet gold balance · claim 500 gems

Many of the changes in this update came from your reports on Discord. Thank you for telling me what felt wrong.

Our Discord server has its own tag

  • Thanks to your server boosts, the DragonScape Idle Discord now has its own server tag. You can wear it next to your name anywhere on Discord. Pick it under Server Tag in your Discord profile settings.
  • Thank you to everyone who boosted the server. It means a lot to me.
  • Not on Discord yet? Join with the button below.

Auto-eat keeps you topped up

  • Auto-eat now eats whenever a piece of food fits in your missing HP. Your health stays high through a long fight and no healing is wasted.
  • It never overheals. A big fish waits until it fits.
  • You only get a message when it eats because you are in danger, so the combat log stays quiet.

A fairer Weekly Quest Board

  • Time left now follows your real speed, so the estimate matches how fast you actually finish.
  • The same quest no longer shows up twice on one day.
  • Each day has at most one monster quest for each combat style.
  • The last day of the board now fills properly, with fewer combat quests just to fill space.

Two new switches in Settings

  • Keep screen on: your phone screen stays awake while the game is open, so you can watch a fight or a long craft without tapping.
  • Show time estimates: turn it off to hide time estimates across the game, including time to the next level, materials, food and stock. It starts off for new players and stays as you set it.

Pet gold balance Some pets brought in far more gold than others. A maxed Sage made over 2M gp a day. Gold pets now land in one band:

  • Sage the Rune Owl and Quill the Porcupine bring back half as much as before.
  • Gil the Otter, Basil the Raccoon and Sooty the Fox bring back more. They were the weakest gold pets.
  • The wiki Pets page now shows each pet's real base rate.

Gear and items

  • Sirius Destiny now needs Melee 85 to equip. If you are already wearing it, it stays on.
  • Steel Arrows from the Wandering Merchant now cost 2000 gp.

Fixes

  • Scrollbars now show on desktop.
  • The gem count in the header is white, so you can read it in forced dark mode.
  • On phones, the stars on pet cards no longer slide under the Star Up button.

Oct 17, 2026: Our First YouTube Video

Laura Levels made a video about the game · a promo code in the video · a full gift now always wins a Golden Set piece · claim 500 gems

Laura Levels has made the first YouTube video about DragonScape Idle. I will never forget it.

Laura, thank you so much. I make this game on my own. Seeing you play it, enjoy it and share it with your viewers means more to me than I can say. Thank you for your time and your kind words, and for being the first.

  • Laura has a promo code for you. You can find it in the video and in the video description. Redeem it in Settings for 500 gems.

KingK's Party Hall: a full gift always wins a Golden Set piece

  • A full gift now always wins a new Golden Set piece. Before, it was a 25% chance.
  • A smaller gift counts as that part of a piece. If you do not win this time, your chance carries over to the next party, so two half gifts make a piece.
  • Gifts close 18 Oct at 11:00 UTC.

Events

  • New players can start event quests right away. They no longer need to finish the tutorial, and the Event tab shows from the start.

Changes and fixes

  • Sixty-Five Roses: each crop you plant with the tonic grows 10% faster, and one bottle lasts ten plantings. This replaces the instant regrow.
  • Offline progress no longer counts extra time when a device clock is set forward.
  • The leaderboard category list is now dark and easier to read.

Oct 17, 2026: Sixty-Five Roses

A new rose quest · a garden tonic · thieving session loot · claim 500 gems

This quest was made for our Patreon supporter Darnascus and his partner, with a story inspired by cystic fibrosis awareness.

Below the castle wall, Wren's old rose terraces are waiting to bloom again.

Sixty-Five Roses

  • Help Wren restore the garden through 18 new quests. Finish Feed the Kingdom, then find Wren beside The Royal Gardens.
  • Grow Purple Roses at Farming 10. Find seeds through the Farmer, Bird Nests and the Thornfield survey.
  • Brew the Sixty-Five Roses garden tonic at Brewing 15. Each crop you plant with it grows 10% faster, and one bottle lasts ten plantings.
  • Complete the quest chain to earn the Modulator Amulet, which reduces crop grow time by 5%.

Your thieving loot, together

See everything collected during your thieving session, with rare drops first. Enable it in Settings → Advanced customisation. Thank you, Roman, for the idea.

Easier to use

  • Tap a drop from a thieving target, chest or exploring area to see what it is used for.
  • Missing a combat drop for a recipe? Tap it to start the fight.

Oct 10, 2026: Patch 2.77: Brewing Rework

Brewing pays better · Belquerst's Stirring Rod · Brewmaster's Journal · gear by combat style · claim 500 gems

You told us that brewing depends too much on luck and that potions are not worth the XP. This patch changes both.

Fair XP for every recipe

  • Every recipe now pays XP for the time its ingredients take to grow: 40 XP for each hour.
  • No recipe is a bad pick for XP any more.
  • Each recipe row shows the XP a brew pays and how many charges the potion has.

Belquerst's Stirring Rod

  • A new Brewing tool. With it a brew never fails.
  • A rare drop from the Farmer in Thieving, 1 in 10000. Needs Brewing 30.
  • You can only own one and it can not be sold.
  • Named in honor of Belquerst, one of our earliest players.

Brewmaster's Journal

  • A new permanent upgrade in the Shop, on the Permanent tab, from Brewing 30.
  • It costs 300000 coins or 1000 gems.
  • +1% Brewing XP and +1% potion charges for each Brewing level, up to 99.

Brewing Gloves

  • They now return herbs only up to the best herb of the recipe you brew.

Gear by combat style

  • Plate and shields count as Melee gear. Leather counts as Ranged gear.
  • Recommended and Auto-Equip Best pick only gear of your own style. You can still wear any armour by hand.
  • A skill loadout lists only the gear made for that skill.
  • Auto-Equip Best also runs when you level up, so gear you already own is put on as soon as you can wear it.

Oct 1, 2026: Thank You!

A big thank you to everyone playing · claim 1000 gems

This post is simply a big thank you to everyone playing DragonScape Idle!

I honestly did not expect this much support. So many people have tried the game, I have received a huge amount of feedback, and that feedback is already helping me improve the game every day.

This game is built on your suggestions, so it is your game too. At least 50% of it is here because of the great feedback from players.

And somehow, 5 people are even supporting the game through Patreon. That really means a lot to me.

Some items in the game are already named by players, and we will add more. See them all on the wiki: Named by Players

I am building this game mostly because I enjoy doing it, but seeing people actually play it, enjoy it, report bugs, suggest ideas, and come back to it makes all the work worth it.

So really: thank you all so much.

Without you, the game would not be where it is today.

As a small thank-you gift, here are 1000 gems for everyone. Claim them below.

Enjoy, and thank you for being part of DragonScape Idle!

Sep 22, 2026: Patch 2.34: The Farmers' Guild

The 11th skill guild · guild gold rebalanced · painted icons · claim 500 gems

🌾 The Farmers' Guild, the 11th skill guild

  • Twenty trials open at Farming 99, and they pay their own grind back as they run.
  • Quests 4, 8, 12 and 16 each open a new field. Fields 13 to 16 are the guild's own ground.
  • Priulus's Watering Can (quest 7, offhand): 10% off every crop's grow time.
  • Aluna's Yoke (quest 13, body): a flat 2 crops on every successful harvest, no charges to buy back.
  • The Farming Skill Cape (quest 20): another 20% off grow time. Worn with the Can that is 30% off, so a 24 hour Dragon Pepper is ready in 16h 48m. That is 42% more harvests a day on every plot you own.
  • Aluna and Priulus are players. The guild's gear is named after you, and there will be more of that.

⚖️ Guild gold cut to a fifth

  • All ten skill guild chains paid out between 28 and 36 million gp, the biggest gold faucet in the game by a wide margin. It is now between 5.6 and 7.2 million.
  • Gem payouts are untouched, and a chain you have already finished keeps what it paid you.

🗺️ The quest board pays at every milestone

  • 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% each pay gems now, instead of only the top step.
  • The common Clue Scroll sits at 40%, and a rare Clue Scroll now waits at 80%. A rare clue is a three hour expedition, so it belongs behind the harder step. Both need Exploring.
  • The Pet Key at 100% needs Pets unlocked.

🎒 The bank groups items by where they came from

  • Your bank sorts by the skill or source that produced each item, so a full bank reads cleanly again.

🎨 Every icon is painted now

  • Every icon slot draws real art instead of an emoji, with 18 new UI icons and a cleaner tab icon.
  • The Skills Guild button wears an actual skill cape instead of a scholar's cap, the gem counter is a brighter cyan, and settings, wiki, gold, total level and total XP were repainted.

📱 Install it like an app

  • Add the game to your home screen and it opens full screen, with no browser bars.

🔧 Fixed

  • A reload that never landed could leave the open game stalled. Three separate holes are closed, and the boot no longer strands on one either.
  • A Patreon token racing our own refresh could pay half a daily claim and leave the button lit. Claims pay in full now.
  • Tab intros no longer replay for an account that started as a guest.
  • The gear recommender no longer suggests gear you have not unlocked, and keeps Ranged and Magic on their own gear.

Sep 21, 2026: Patch 2.30: The Archmagister Opens Her Gate

A new event dungeon · five new events · claim 500 gems

🪄 Mage's Gauntlet, a new event dungeon

  • Six wardens stand between you and the Archmagister's Cache. It is open only while the gate holds, and it closes on the 25th.
  • The Cache pays out runes by the hundred, Dragon Bones, and three pieces made for casters.
  • The Wand is one-handed, so your off-hand stays free for a shield. It hits softer than a staff, and that is the trade.
  • The Gloves take one Air, Water, Earth or Fire rune off every cast, and they stack with the Elf's Grimoire.
  • Bring a plan: the hall is full of casters, so melee will feel the triangle working against it.

✨ Five new events join the rotation

  • 🥖 Baker's Dozen — a 20% chance at a second portion while cooking, and 20% more Cooking XP.
  • ☄️ Meteor Shower — mine 25% faster, with a 15% chance to double your ore.
  • 🤫 Silent Hands — 30% more Thieving XP and 20% faster hands.
  • 🧭 Wayfarer's Week — survey 30% faster for 20% more Exploring XP.
  • 🌌 Ley Line Convergence — 30% more Runecrafting XP and 20% faster at the altar.

🔧 Fixed

  • Dungeon Info: the wave list no longer breaks apart. The weakness badge is back to its compact size and sits on the level and HP line, and the panel is a little wider so long monster names fit.
  • Quest rewards and objective counters now group their digits, so a 2,000,000 coin reward reads as 2,000,000 instead of a wall of zeroes.

📅 The Events tab knows what you are about to lose

  • Active events now sort by whatever ends soonest, so the one running out is always at the top.

  • New type across the whole game, with a size floor on phones so nothing is a squint any more.
  • The panels wear an iron frame instead of the old brown strips, so the colour of a panel no longer fights the text on it.
  • Faint grey labels that were hard to make out (equipment slots, the language list, requirement text) are now properly legible.

🗺️ Quest maps, redrawn for phones

  • The maps used to be a tall strip you scrolled forever. They now fit the shape of your screen: portrait on phones, landscape on laptops.
  • Locked nodes are visible instead of nearly black, node labels sit on a solid plate, and overlapping nodes have been pulled apart.

✖️ Every popup closes the same way

  • One close button, top right, big enough to hit with a thumb, on every popup that had a different one.
  • Escape and a tap outside now close information popups too. Confirmations still ask first, so nothing important closes by accident.

🌍 Small things that were bugging us

  • The activity banner and the Woodcutting rows now speak your language instead of falling back to English.
  • Emoji used as interface icons have been replaced with drawn ones.

Sep 20, 2026: Patch 2.27: Sign in with Email

You asked for it: email and password sign-in · your hero on every device · claim 500 gems

📧 Email sign-in is here, because you asked for it

  • Not everyone has a Google account, and plenty of you told us that signing in was the one thing standing between you and keeping your hero. So now you can save your hero with an email address and a password instead.
  • Open Settings → Sign in, choose Create account, and your current hero comes with you.
  • We send one confirmation email. Until you open it, your hero stays on this device only, so nobody can type in your address and walk off with your progress.
  • Once you confirm, your hero follows you to any device, phone or desktop.
  • The one-time 1,000 gem account bonus is waiting there too.

🔐 Already playing with Google?

  • Nothing changes. Keep tapping Continue with Google.
  • Want a second way in? Settings → Account → Add a password. Same hero, same account, either way works.
  • Signing up with the address your Google account already uses does not make a second hero. The game says so and switches you to Sign in.

🔑 Forgot your password?

  • There is a reset link in the sign-in sheet. It emails you a link to set a new one.

Thank you for asking for this one, and for being patient while it was built. Claim your 500 gems below. 💙

Sep 19, 2026: Patch 2.26: The Elemental Apprenticeship

New 7-day event at total level 300 · event switcher · claim 500 gems

🌪️ The Elemental Apprenticeship (new event)

  • Two mages, Aeris and Cinder, are looking for an apprentice. The event opens when your total level reaches 300 and runs for 7 days from that moment, on your own clock.
  • Already past 300? Your 7 days start today.
  • 30 quests over three Circles (Air, Fire and Storm), one task each, across Fishing, Cooking, Woodcutting, Firemaking, Melee, Ranged, Magic, Runecrafting, Fletching and Crafting.
  • Every quest pays XP in the skill it trains, plus runes (about 20,000 Air and 20,000 Fire in total), arrows, whetstones, food, silver and gold bars, coins and gems.
  • Rewards are paid quest by quest, so you keep everything you finish even if the 7 days run out.
  • Find it in Quests → Event. It progresses alongside your normal quests.

🗺️ Event tab

  • When more than one event is running, a switcher at the top lets you pick which one to view.
  • The Elemental Apprenticeship and The Grandmaster's Ascent show a short trail list instead of the map.

🧭 Also since the last patch

  • Prayer: Bones and Urns now have their own tabs, and urn offerings no longer roll Bone Chests or trigger Necromancer's Brew.
  • Selling: new Select All but 1 button.
  • The spellbook shows rune costs when you hover a spell on desktop.
  • Farmer's Life asks for fewer Tomatoes, Radishes and Corn.

Sep 17, 2026: Patch 2.25: Dragonskinner

Dragonskinner · trees for everyone · auto arrows and spells · claim 500 gems

🔪 Dragonskinner (new shop upgrade)

  • Buy it once in the Shop for 2,000 gems (needs Hitpoints 70).
  • Every dragonhide drop is doubled: Green, Blue, Red and Black.
  • Cowhide stays with the Cow Skinner.

🌲 Woodcutting and Firemaking

  • Teak, Yew and Elderwood trees no longer need Exploring progress. Reach the level and chop.
  • Woodcutting XP per hour now keeps growing as you level, with no early dip.
  • Firemaking gives +1% XP for every level above a log's requirement, and Teak, Maple, Mahogany and Yew burn for more base XP.

🏹 Auto arrows and spells

  • Ranged and Magic can now pick your best arrow and best spell for you. Choose Auto (best) in the arrow and spell pickers.
  • New characters start with both on, so arrows fire from the very first fight.

🐾 Pets

  • Pet Auto-Collect can now be switched off and on again in the Shop.

🧵 Crafting

  • Leather gear is no longer sold in the Shop. Craft it from cowhide instead (gear you already own stays).
  • Leather crafting gives half the XP it did, since cowhide drops for free in combat.

  • The Global tab now opens at total level 300 (was 500), and News at total level 100.
  • When a new tab unlocks, a short card shows you what it does.
  • Quest map tabs and the Quests sub-tab now show a red dot when a quest is ready to hand in.
  • Offline combat no longer trains the wrong style after you tap a quest's skill link mid-fight.
  • Phone layout fixes for the fight header, the target list and crafting bonus icons.
  • The Grandmaster's Ascent no longer lists a title reward that did nothing.

Auto Quester · Pet Auto-Collect · free Auto-Eat · claim 500 gems

📜 Auto Quester (new shop upgrade)

  • Buy it once in the Shop for 1,000 gems (needs total level 300).
  • Whatever you do counts toward every quest chain you have started, and every chain you could start, not just the one you are tracking. Harvest wheat while doing Warrior's Path and Farmer's Life fills up too.
  • Works online and offline. Your offline popup shows an Auto Quester section listing what moved.
  • It never hands in quests for you. Finished quests get a red dot so you know where to go.

🐾 Pet Auto-Collect (new shop upgrade)

  • Buy it once in the Shop for 1,000 gems (needs total level 1000).
  • When you come back, your pets' loot is collected for you, right in the offline popup. No more visiting every pet.
  • Sprout the Hare now harvests 3x as often.

⚔️ Combat

  • Auto-Eat is now free for everyone.
  • Switch between opponents right from the fight screen.
  • Extra prayer slots can be bought.
  • Food, potions and other consumables sit in one tidy chip each.
  • Arrows show their bonus with a new icon.
  • The bait popup lets you buy bait or go fight for it on the spot.
  • Thieving: auto-eat now works when you get caught.

🗺️ Quests

  • New quest map with main and side quests. The old list view is gone.
  • Warrior's Path gets two new steps before Iron Smelting: Forge Ready (Smithing 10) and Iron Ore Haul.
  • A failed harvest still counts 1 toward "Collect crop" quests.
  • Buying a fishing rod picks your quest right back up.

🛒 Shop and UI

  • The Shop is split into Gloves, Equipment, Supplies and All, with sections inside All.
  • The Daily tab opens at total level 200.
  • Firemaking shows a campfire for each log, and the drops popup shows item art.
  • Success Chance says when beginner's luck is the number you see.
  • Lots of small fixes: tooltips, requirement links, quest tab scrolling, old cloud saves loading, and Reset Account.

Sep 16, 2026: Patch 2.21: Sharper Arrows

See what your enemy is weak to · every arrow redrawn · claim 500 gems

Combat

  • The badge on a monster now tells you what it is weak to, instead of what it attacks with. Match its weakness and you hit harder.
  • The loadout picker opened behind the monster list on wide screens. It now opens on top, and that fixes the prayer, whetstone and spellbook pickers too.
  • The ammo row leads with the arrow you are actually firing, rather than the best one you happen to own none of.

Arrows

  • Iron, Steel and Mithril Arrow had no icon at all and drew a bow instead. All 14 arrow icons are redrawn as one family: the same shaft, a different head per metal.
  • Those same three sold for 2 gp whatever the tier. They are now priced like every other arrow.
  • Arrows no longer borrow the fletching recipe's name, so Bronze Arrow (15) only shows up where you genuinely get 15 of them.
  • If you ended up with a second, unusable arrow stack, it is folded back into the real arrow, one for one.

Items

  • Arrows and whetstones explain themselves now. The item popup carries a How it is used block and a button that drops you straight onto the right combat tab.

Sep 15, 2026: Patch 2.19: Invite Friends

Earn up to 5,000 gems for inviting friends · cleaner skill rows · claim 500 gems

Playing with friends is better, so now it pays too.

Invite rewards

  • Open the 🌍 GLOBAL tab and share your invite link. Copy it, share it, or send it straight to Discord or WhatsApp.
  • When a friend you invited reaches total level 500, you get 500 gems. That works for up to 10 friends, so 5,000 gems in total.
  • Your friend gets 250 gems as soon as they connect Google, at any level.
  • The tab tracks how many friends joined, how far they are and what you have earned.
  • Rewards arrive in your Inbox within a few hours. Both of you need a Google login; guest links do not earn rewards.

Skills

  • Skill rows are more compact: requirements, bait and gear bonuses fit on one line, and the row you are training is highlighted.
  • Fishing rods and nets now buy exactly one.

Phones

  • Quest maps and news pictures load lighter versions on phones, so they use about half the memory.

Sep 14, 2026: Patch 2.17: Wizard Tower

New wizard combat area · three magic gear sets · Double Feathers · claim 500 gems

Mages finally have gear from level 1, and Rangers have a new tower to clear.

New combat area: Wizard Tower

  • Unlocks at total level 10.
  • Three wizards: Apprentice Wizard (level 10), Wizard (level 30) and Mystic Mage (level 60).
  • They all fight with magic, so Ranged has the advantage.
  • Each wizard drops its own 7-piece magic set, plus runes.

Three magic gear sets

  • Apprentice (Magic 1): Magic Staff, Hat, Robe Top, Robe Bottoms, Gloves, Boots and Belt. 4% drop chance per piece.
  • Wizard (Magic 25): the new Wizard Staff (+24 Magic) and a full blue set. 3% per piece.
  • Mystic (Magic 55): the new Mystic Staff (+32 Magic) and a full purple set. 2% per piece.
  • Every set covers the hat, top, bottoms, gloves, boots and belt slots.

Combat

  • Tap any drop in a monster's loot table to see what it is used for, where else it comes from and what it sells for.
  • The combat panel now estimates your kills, XP, food and ammo or runes per hour, plus your max hit and hit chance.
  • New upgrade: Double Feathers doubles every feather drop (50,000 coins or 500 gems).
  • Goblins now fight with ranged and drop Bronze, Iron and Steel arrows. Skeletons drop bones and seeds instead of an Iron Bar.
  • Bigger monster icons, and far-off areas fold away behind "Show more areas".

Quests

  • Collect quests: when an item can be made or found in more than one place, START lets you pick where to get it.
  • Cook quests with no raw fish in the bank now send you fishing first.

Shop

  • Bronze, Iron, Steel and Mithril armour and weapons are no longer sold. Smith them instead.
  • The Daily tab now shows guests the 1,000 gem sign-in reward.

New players

  • A welcome screen, a calmer tutorial that moves straight on to the next step, and better luck at level 1 fishing and woodcutting.

Sep 13, 2026: Patch 2.15: Two Hands, Better Gear

Greatswords, two-handed bows and staffs, chaps and belts for every hide, and smarter gear picks · claim 500 gems

A lot changed in your armoury this weekend. Here it is in one place.

Greatswords ⚔️

A new weapon at every Smithing tier, Bronze to Dragon, with Silver, Gold and Diamond plating. A Greatsword deals more damage per second than anything else in its metal, about 11% over the Battleaxe. The catch: it takes both hands, so no shield.

Sirius Destiny is still the king. Starfall Strike keeps it ahead of even a Diamond Dragon Greatsword.

Bows and staffs are two-handed 🙌

Every bow and every staff now takes both hands too. If you had a shield or Elf's Grimoire equipped next to one, we took it off for you. It is still in your inventory, nothing was lost. The equipment screen warns you before a swap takes something off.

Chaps and belts for every hide 🧵

Crafting can now make Chaps and a Belt from Leather and all four dragonhides. A full Black D-hide set now gives +62 Ranged, up from +41.

Smarter gear picks 🏹

  • For Ranged, ranged gear now always comes first.

Fixes

  • Diamond-plated Sirius Destiny now triggers Starfall Strike. It never did before. Sorry, Sirius owners! ⭐
  • Player profiles on the leaderboard show real icons instead of emoji.
  • The browser tab title no longer uses an em dash.

Sep 13, 2026: Patch 2.13: Faster Fights

Big monsters go down faster, food matters, arrows follow your Ranged level · claim 500 gems

Combat felt slow at the top and oddly generous at the bottom. This patch fixes both ends.

Big fights, faster

  • Your hits land more often against well-armoured monsters.
  • The very beefiest area monsters have less HP. Their gold per kill was trimmed to match. Dungeon bosses are unchanged.
  • Example: a Black Dragon at level 99 melee goes from about 16 minutes a kill to about 7.5, and from about 105k to 146k XP an hour.

XP matches the challenge

  • Fighting a monster far below your level now gives less combat XP. The combat panel tells you exactly how much ("60% XP · monster below your level").
  • Fighting at your level is where the XP is.

Food matters

  • A new food slot sits next to Stop in the combat banner: your next auto-eat food and how many you have left. It pulses when you are running low and warns you when you are out.
  • Auto-eat now heals you to full once it kicks in, instead of one bite.

Arrows follow your Ranged level

  • Iron 10, Steel 25, Mithril 40, Adamant 55, Rune 70, Dragon 85. Bronze stays at 1.
  • If every arrow you had selected is now above your level, the best arrows you own and can fire are added to your selection for you.

Save your progress: claim 1,000 gems

  • Signed-in players get a one-time 1,000 gem reward for having an account. Old accounts too.
  • Playing as a guest? At total level 100 we will offer to connect your progress to a Google account, so it is safe across devices.

Sep 12, 2026: Patch 2.9.2: The Gear, Redrawn

Every tier is now the same gear in a different metal, and plated pieces finally look like your own gear · claim 500 gems

Every piece of smithed equipment in the game has been redrawn. No stats moved, no drop rates changed, nothing left your bank. This is about being able to read your gear at a glance.

One ladder, one design

Each tier used to be drawn from scratch, so a Bronze Sword, a Steel Sword and a Runite Sword were three unrelated swords that happened to be different colours. Now a slot has one design and the metal is the only thing that changes. Your Runite Platebody is the Bronze Platebody you started out in, in runite. A ladder you can actually see yourself climbing.

Plated gear looks plated

Silver, gold and diamond plating add trim to a piece you already own, but the icons never showed it: a (G) Mithril Helmet came out as some other helmet entirely. Now it is your Mithril Helmet with gold on it. When you plate something, you can see your own upgrade.

While we were in there

  • Gauntlets have thumbs again. All of them. Sorry about that. 🧤
  • Ore and bars match the metal they smelt into, across every tier.
  • The default patch-notes banner behind these updates is new.

That is the whole release. Purely how things look, nothing about how they work. 🖌️

Sep 11, 2026: Patch 2.7: Your Inbox

Messages and rewards sent to you, one news popup per login, and safer Carnival progress · claim 500 gems

The 📰 News tab has a second side. Next to the patch notes there is now an Inbox: things sent to you, and only you.

What lands in your Inbox

  • Messages from the team. If something goes wrong on your account, or we just want to say thanks, it arrives here with a reason attached instead of a number quietly changing.
  • Rewards you claim. A message can carry gems, coins or items. Nothing is added until you press Claim, and a reward never expires while it waits for you.
  • Event receipts. Carnival tiers are paid automatically. If you never opened the panel to see them, the receipt now waits in your Inbox instead of disappearing when the next Carnival starts.

An unread message lights the 📰 badge. A message with a reward attached also greets you once when you log in; plain messages simply wait.

One popup, and it is the newest

Coming back after a few updates no longer means clicking through a stack of announcements. You get one popup per login, always the most recent update. Everything older is still on the News side with its unread dot.

Carnival progress is safer

In rare cases an out-of-date copy of the game, like an old browser tab or a cached app, could mistake the running Carnival for a finished one and reset your contribution. It now leaves anything it does not recognise alone.

Nothing here touches your levels, items or gear. 📬

Sep 10, 2026: Patch 2.6: A Better First Hour

The tutorial rebuilt, a full bronze set on the way through, and a game that stops shouting at new players · claim 500 gems

Almost all of this release is aimed at the first hour of the game. Long-time players get the quality-of-life half; new players get a tutorial that finally teaches instead of stalls.

The Beginning, rebuilt

  • 21 steps, and a full bronze set on the way through. Sword, helmet, platebody, platelegs, belt, shield, gloves and boots, one slot at a time. Each piece equips itself the moment it lands.
  • Two repeat steps cut. "Catch 5 shrimp" and "cook 5 shrimp" came back a second time with bigger numbers and taught nothing. Gone.
  • Fishing and Cooking start with a jump. The first two quests now hand over 1,000 xp each, so the level milestones are a short push instead of a long sit.
  • Oak from level 5. Reaching woodcutting 10 for the first oak quest meant 77 normal trees. It is now 26. Burning oak logs opened up to match.
  • The Cows are survivable. Two kills instead of three, a full heal before the fight, and body armour on the step before it.
  • Auto-Eat is taught, not discovered. A new quest hands you the gems and asks you to buy it, right before the Giant Rats, which is the first fight that punishes a player who does not know food exists.

Quest completions announce themselves

Finishing a quest used to be silent unless you happened to be looking at the Quests panel. On a phone you almost never are, because the fight or the gather that finished it is on another tab. Now a card slides in wherever you are standing, with the rewards you just earned and the step you just moved into. Tap it to jump to the quest.

Tabs arrive when they mean something

A fresh account opened onto seven tabs it had no use for. They now unlock as you go:

  • Events at total level 50, the Global goal at total level 500.
  • The Skill Guild map appears with your first level 99, instead of showing a wall of locks from minute one.

Phones get the Shop back

The bottom bar now reads Skills, Combat, Quest, Shop. The inventory moved into the ☰ More sheet. The shop is where you buy the tool or the bait that unblocks the next thing you wanted to do; the inventory is mostly reading.

Nothing here touches your save, your levels or your gear. If you are past the tutorial you will notice the toast, the bottom bar and nothing else. 🎣

Sep 10, 2026: Patch 2.5: Two New Pets

Cinder the Ram works Prayer, Sprout the Hare works Farming · claim 500 gems

Cinder the Ram 🐏 · Prayer

Prayer has never had a pet, because Prayer has never had anything to gather. Cinder fixes that from the other end: he brings back bones, and you bury them.

  • Small, Normal, Big and Dragon Bones, unlocking on his level exactly the way the offerings unlock on yours.
  • A maxed Cinder brings home a little over a thousand bones a day.
  • He is capped by your own Prayer level, so he can never run ahead of you.

Sprout the Hare 🐇 · Farming

Sprout works a plot of her own. No seeds needed, and no seed is ever spent.

  • Every harvest is a surprise: any crop you have the level to grow, drawn at random.
  • The slower a crop is to grow, the rarer it is coming back. Wheat is common. Dragon Pepper is a small event.
  • She brings back roughly 38 harvests a day at full strength, spread across the whole crop list.

Both pets

  • Roll them from the Pet Box like any other pet, star them up with shards, and assign them to a mission slot.
  • They earn while you are away, same 24 hour income cap as the rest of the menagerie.
  • Neither one spends a thing to work. No bones in, no seeds in.

Two of the biggest skills in the game finally have a companion. Go and meet them. 🐾

Sep 10, 2026: Patch 2.4.5: Gold Rebalance

Runecrafting and the Vault Keeper come back to the pack, and every fish is finally worth catching

Two methods were running away with the game

  • Runecrafting rune sell values are now a sixth of what they were. With a maxed altar, a single 5 gp essence was turning into roughly 1,700 gp, which made it the richest thing in the game by a wide margin.
  • The Vault Keeper now pays about half. His coin purse and his three common drops all came down together.

Neither is dead. The Vault Keeper is still the single best gold target in the game, and Runecrafting still sits comfortably in the top three.

Fishing pays again

This one landed quietly in 2.4.4, so here it is properly:

  • Minnows and Chum cost so much that every fish from Swordfish upward cost more in bait than it sold for. Shark was burning about 29,000 gp an hour.
  • Minnow packs drop from 5,000 gp to 1,000. Chum drops from 20,000 to 1,500.
  • Every fish in the game now turns a profit, and the Leviathan is the best of them by some distance.

Why

Gold should be a choice between skills, not one obvious answer. The top of the table now has thieving, woodcutting, runecrafting and dragon farming within reach of each other, instead of two methods lapping the field.

Sep 8, 2026: Patch 2.4 — The Warriors' Guild

A melee capstone, four dragons worth farming, and a full Dragonhide armour ladder · claim 500 gems

The Valley of Dragons

  • Green, Blue, Red and Black Dragons now share one home, open from total level 60.
  • Every dragon drops exactly one hide per kill — a set is measured in kills, not luck.
  • Whetstone drops reworked: a flat 10% chance, with the haul growing as you climb the ladder.

The Dragonhide ladder

  • Twelve new recipes and twelve new pieces: Blue, Red and Black D-hide, filling Crafting 77 to 99.
  • Ranged armour that trades plate defence for the ranged power that actually lands hits.

The Warriors' Guild — melee's Lv99 capstone

  • Eleven trials. Quest 3 opens the Black Dragon; the last three ask you to master it.
  • Rewards the Melee Skill Cape and the Dragonguard Bulwark, the best off-hand in the game.
  • The Bulwark takes Silver, Gold and Diamond plating like any smithed piece.

Heads up Black Dragonhide now comes from a guild-gated dragon, so the top four Crafting rungs are Warriors' Guild content. The rest of the ladder is open to everyone.

Sep 7, 2026: IdleScape is now DragonScape Idle

New name, new address · your save and account are untouched · claim 500 gems

The game has a new name: DragonScape Idle, and a new home at dragonscapeidle.com.

Why again? "IdleScape" turned out to be the name of another game in this exact genre, already years old and about to arrive on Steam. Two games sharing one name in the same corner of the internet helps nobody. You would struggle to find us, and anyone searching would land in the wrong place. Better to fix it now, while the name is only weeks old, than after it reaches a store page.

What changes for you? Nothing but the sign on the door.

  • Your save, your progress and your account are exactly where you left them.
  • Same skills, same quests, same guilds, same roadmap.
  • Signing in with Google works as it always did.
  • idlescape.games still works. If you have it bookmarked, it will carry you across on its own.

One thing worth doing If you play as a guest with no account, your save lives in this browser, tied to this address. Browsers and bookmarks are not forever. Signing in takes ten seconds and makes your save yours on any device and any address.

💎 Claim 500 gems below. Thank you for your patience with a second sign change.

Sep 7, 2026: Patch 2.1 · Seeds

Your first wheat seed is no longer a lottery · seeds are buyable again · claim 500 gems

Several of you asked the same question this week: where do you get your first wheat seed? The honest answer was that mostly, you could not. Farmer’s Life asks you to harvest wheat, but the only seed sources left in the game were a rare Bird Nest or the Thieving Farmer, and Thieving is unlocked four quests later in that very same chain. That is a dead end, and it should never have shipped.

Seeds are buyable again. Open the planting screen and every food crop now has a Buy 100 button, priced by tier: 1,000 gp for Wheat and Lettuce, climbing to 40,000 gp for Dragon Pepper. No shop trip, no Thieving level, no waiting on a nest.

Farmer’s Life now hands you 100 wheat seeds the moment it unlocks Farming, so the very next quest is something you can actually do.

Already stuck? Not any more. Every save that cleared that quest before today gets 100 wheat seeds added automatically the next time you load. Nothing to press.

Brewing herbs are unchanged. Marrentill, Tarromin, Harralander, Ranarr Weed, Avantoe, Kwuarm and Magic Herb still come from the world only: steal them, find them in Bird Nests, or survey Thornfield. That economy keeps its gates.

Fixed from your reports 🔧

A run of fixes shipped quietly over the last few days, all of them found because someone told me:

  • The tutorial’s first fight was unwinnable. An unarmed level-1 character could not deal enough damage to ever beat the Cow. Every new player was walking into a fight the maths said they could not win.
  • Offline time could vanish on a build switch. Returning to the game just as a new version went out could measure your break as zero seconds. Fixed in two passes, and I am making it right with the players it cost hours.
  • Wide screens got a readability pass, so nothing is stuck at phone size on a monitor any more.

Keep them coming. Every one of these came from a player writing in, and that is the fastest way anything gets fixed around here.

Sep 6, 2026: Patch 1.96 — The Gates

The 🌍 Global tab opens to everyone · 500 daily players and we launch · claim 500 gems

DragonScape Idle has no marketing budget, no publisher and no ad spend. It grows exactly one way: players telling other players.

The 🌍 Global tab is now open to everyone. It has been sitting there behind a lock while I tested it. It shows one honest number — how many people play DragonScape Idle on a typical day — and the one goal that number is walking toward.

That goal is 500 daily players. Reach it and the gates open: DragonScape Idle launches properly to the world, and launch week will be a festival for everyone playing that week.

(The screen used to say 100. That target was set while I was the only one who could see it. Now that it is a promise made to all of you, it deserved to be a number actually worth reaching.)

This is the part where I ask for your help. Open the Global tab and press 🔗 Invite a friend — it copies a link straight to the game, nothing else. Post it where you already hang out, send it to one person who would like this sort of thing, mention it in a comment somewhere. That is the entire growth plan, and it works or it doesn't depending on you.

Nothing is locked behind the goal. No content, no rewards, no gates on your own progress — it is a shared number, not a paywall. Sharing is a favour, never a requirement.

Sep 5, 2026: Patch 1.95 — Ninety-Nine

Level 99 now gets the screen to itself · claim 500 gems

Reaching 99 in a skill is the rarest thing you do here. Until now it slid past in the XP bar like any other level.

Now it stops the screen. The moment a skill crosses 99 you get the badge, the number, and which mastery this one is for you — your first, your third, your eleventh.

It knows what you just opened. If that skill has a guild, the card names it and puts you one tap from the Skill Guild map.

It waits its turn. Finish a 99 while you were away and the celebration holds until you have collected your offline gains, so it never lands on top of the report.

Sep 4, 2026: Patch 1.93 — The Grandmaster's Ascent

A 3-week endgame event · 10 trials · 5,000 gems and 11.75M XP on the table

You finished the guilds. You finished the episodes. The Grandmasters have been watching, and they have ten things to ask of you.

A three-week event, and it is not a small one. Ten trials, each about ten hours of real work, sweeping every skill you own — the elder grove, the last runite vein, five hundred leviathan, the Guild vault, seven thousand ancient runes, the arrow line from ore to fletch, the Desecrated Crypt, all three combat disciplines, and three cauldrons that will strip your fields bare.

Every trial pays on its own. Clear six of the ten and you keep everything those six paid — nothing waits on the finale. Across the full run: 5,000 gems, 11.75M skill XP and 27.5M gold.

Two things worth knowing before you start:

  • Plant early. The Cauldron Vigil needs herbs, and herbs grow on a real clock — not on how hard you play. Start it in the last week and you will not finish it.
  • It runs in the background. Like every event chain, it progresses alongside your normal quests. You do not have to choose.

Who can enter: total level 1,500, plus the Thieves' Guild Trials and The Silent Crypt behind you — the vault and the crypt are where several trials are fought.

The window closes 25 September. The Grandmasters do not extend it.

Sep 3, 2026: Patch 1.92 — The Emberwardens' Guild

The 9th skill guild · a fire that boosts every skill · a use for all that ash

Firemaking has been the emptiest skill in the game. Every node burns a log and gives you nothing — no item, no drop, no reason to come back. Ash piled up and was used by absolutely nothing. That ends today.

The Great Bonfire Complete the guild's fourth trial and the Wardens light a fire for you. Feed it logs and it banks fuel — then it pays +10% XP in every skill, for as long as the fuel lasts.

Two things worth knowing:

  • Fuel is seconds of work, not a countdown. It is spent only while you are actually training. Idle costs nothing. Being away for a week costs nothing. It waits as long as you do.
  • There is no cap. Burn for a month and you keep every second of it.

Ash finally goes somewhere Ash + logs now craft Urns at the Crafting bench — five tiers, from the Cracked Urn to the Warden's Urn. Then you give them back: urns are offerings at the altar for Prayer XP. Firemaking feeds Crafting feeds Prayer, and the ash you have been sweeping up for months is the whole chain's raw material.

The chain 20 quests behind Firemaking 99, ending in the Firemaking Skill Cape — which doubles what every log banks. Along the way: the Emberward Apron (+25% fuel) and the Cinder Ring (+10% Firemaking XP).

Sep 2, 2026: Patch 1.91.7 — Quest progress across your devices

Finish a quest on your phone, see it finished everywhere

If you play on two devices, you may have hit this: you finish a quest on your phone, open the game on your computer, and it is still sitting on the old quest — objective full, Complete Quest doing nothing. Reloading did not help, because the progress genuinely had not made it off the phone.

What was happening Only one device writes your save at a time — that is what keeps two devices from overwriting each other. When you opened the game somewhere else, the first device went to the paused "playing on another device" screen. But anything it had done in the last few seconds and not yet saved — a quest you had just completed, most often — was stuck on that device, and the rest of your account never learned about it.

What changes

Stale "requirement met" counters left behind by the old behaviour are cleared automatically the next time your save syncs, so a chain that was stuck should unstick itself.

If a quest is still stuck Open the game on the device that was showing the paused screen and tap Play here instead once. That pushes its progress up, and every device catches up from there.

Sep 1, 2026: Patch 1.91 — The Chefs' Guild

Two burners at once · the 8th skill guild · new cooking gear

Cooking has been the emptiest skill in the game for a long time: one pan, one fish at a time, and almost no gear worth wearing. That changes today.

Two stations The cooking panel now has two burners. Station 1 cooks at full speed — that is the one you are watching. Station 2 cooks passively in the background at a third of the rate. Either station can cook anything, so you can smoke fish on one and keep a stew going on the other.

Both burners count for XP, for food, and for quest progress — online and while you are away.

Chefs' Guild Trials The 8th skill guild, open at Cooking 99. Twenty quests through the fish ladder, the larder and the banquet, worth 33M coins and 6,750 gems along the way. Quest 7 lights the second burner. Quest 20 hands over the Cooking Skill Cape.

New gear

  • 🥄 Guild Ladle — quest 13. −10% cooking interval, on both stations.
  • 🧤 Cooking Gloves — +1 extra cooked item per cook. In the shop, like every other skilling glove.
  • 🧥 Cooking Skill Cape — the second station runs at 3× instead of 5×.
  • 💍 Chefs Ring — reworked. It used to read "100% Cooking Success", on a skill that cannot fail; it now speeds the second burner up too.

Also in this patch

  • The Shop's last category tabs were unreachable with a mouse. Fixed — along with the same latent problem in six other panels.
  • Smart Cooker now cascades dishes as well as fish.

💎 500 gems are already in your account — no button to press.

Aug 30, 2026: HeroScape is now IdleScape

New name, same adventure · your save, progress and account are untouched

The game you've been playing has a new name: IdleScape.

Why? "HeroScape" was never going to be ours to keep — it belongs to a long-running tabletop game. Rather than wait for that to become a problem, we picked a name that says what this game actually is: a place where your character keeps levelling while you live your life.

What changes for you? Nothing but the name on the door.

  • Your save, your progress, your account — all exactly where you left them.
  • Same skills, same quests, same events, same roadmap.
  • The wiki, Discord and Patreon are coming along under the new name over the next few weeks — old links keep working in the meantime.

What you might notice The loading screen, browser tab and share cards now say IdleScape. If a friend asks what happened to HeroScape — same game, new sign.

Aug 29, 2026: The Beastmasters' Fair

A server-wide goal your pets feed just by working · 14 days · 20 Pet Keys on the ladder · claim 300 gems

The Runecrafting Carnival asked you to bind runes. This one asks nothing of you at all — your pets are already doing it.

🐾 Pet Bonds One Pet Bond is one minute a pet spends on a mission, banked the moment you collect. A starred, high-level pet is worth up to double — star tier and level each carry half the bonus, so a 5★ level 99 companion banks two Bonds a minute where a fresh one banks one.

A slot holds at most 24 hours, so the only thing the Fair really asks is that you come back and collect.

🌍 The Grand Total Every Bond anyone banks is added to one shared counter. Cross a milestone and the reward switches on for everyone at once — more Pets XP, more pet loot, and at the halfway mark +10% XP to every skill in the game, for the rest of the event.

🎟️ Your Menagerie Ten personal rungs alongside the shared bar, carrying 815,000 Pets XP and a Pet Key on every single rung — twenty keys in all, before the shared ladder pays out. Bank 500 Bonds (one pet, left working overnight) and you qualify for every shared reward the server unlocks, past and future.

🐾 The Beastmasters' Stall Open for the fortnight, in the Shop. Pet Keys at a discount, and — for the first time — shards for the pet you choose instead of the one you roll.

⏳ Seven days, closing 5 September. Rewards you've earned stay claimable for one day after the bell, so collect before you close the tab that last time.

Aug 23, 2026: The Beastmasters' Guild

The seventh skill guild · Pets 99 · a new cape, a permanent upgrade, and Echo at last · claim 500 gems

Pets has been the one skill with nothing at the end of it. Twenty quests later, it isn't.

🐾 Beastmasters' Guild Trials — the 7th skill guild Twenty quests, gated on Pets 99, sitting alongside the six guilds you already know. It's paced like the skill itself: the pet half is measured in hours your pets actually spend on missions, not in items they drag home — so a Rune Owl and a Raccoon count exactly the same. Thirty hours to start, two hundred by the finale.

Between those, real work: runite, sharks, runes, a great many pockets, and two trips out to the map you've been ignoring.

📖 The Beastmaster's Ledger A permanent upgrade, handed over at quest 12. Every pet you own adds +0.01% Pets XP per level — across the whole menagerie, with no cap. Three pets barely move it. Ten pets at 99 is a real number. It's the first reason to level the pets sitting on your bench instead of the same three forever.

🧥 Pets Skill Cape The capstone. +20% pet loot, and it stacks with the Beastmaster's Whistle for +30%. Cape slot, so it costs you nothing you were already wearing.

🐈‍⬛ Echo the Copy Cat The S-tier support pet that copies a cut of every point of XP you earn has been in the game, unobtainable, since Pets launched. The Guild pays out its shards — exactly the 25 needed to unlock it, spread across seven quests, the last landing before the finale. This is the only place Echo comes from.

One warning worth reading: Echo's ceiling is your Exploring level. The chain makes you train it for a reason.

Aug 17, 2026: The Grand Distillation

A 100-quest apothecary festival · 320 brewing herbs · two weeks only · claim 500 gems

Herbs are the one thing in this game you cannot hurry. A plot takes hours, gives you one herb, and Kwuarm makes you wait almost a full day for it. That's the wall every brewer hits.

For two weeks, the Guild is paying in herbs instead.

⚗️ Ten rounds, a hundred quests, 320 herbs The Grand Distillation runs like the Grand Survey did: ten rounds of ten quests, cleared in order, one round open at a time. It progresses alongside your normal quest — starting a round never touches what you're already tracking.

Every single quest pays herbs. The count climbs as you work through a round (two, then three, then four, five on the last), and the tier climbs as you work through the event.

🌿 From Marrentill to Kwuarm Early rounds hand out Marrentill and Tarromin by the fistful. Push deeper and it's Harralander, then Ranarr, then Avantoe and Magic Herb. Kwuarm — the 22-hour herb — is paid out in the tenth round and nowhere else. Ninety quests stand in front of it, and it's worth the walk.

🍺 The work itself Mostly honest skilling: chopping, mining, fishing, a good deal of thieving, and some genuinely nasty combat in the back half. Brewing steps are deliberately light — never more than three brews at a time — and every one of them asks for a potion whose herb an earlier round already paid you. The event supplies its own ingredients.

Three quests ask you to cook a proper dish. Those need crops, so the round hands you the crop first. Nobody waits on a farm timer.

⏳ Two weeks, then it's gone The Distillation is open now and closes 1 September, 09:00 UTC. When the window shuts the rounds disappear and progress stops counting, so don't leave the last round for the final evening.

You'll need the Brewing skill unlocked to take part — the rounds show up under the Event tab next to your quests.

500 gems are waiting in this entry — thanks for playing.

Aug 13, 2026: The Smiths' Guild Opens

A 20-quest Lv99 Smithing chain · a cape that ends failed bars forever · diamond-plated Dragon gear · gem cutting · claim 500 gems

Smithing finally gets its guild — and the reason to push past 99.

⚒️ The Smiths' Guild Trials Twenty quests, unlocked at Smithing 99. It's built as a supply chain, not a grind wall: the chain walks the forge backwards from the fire to the finished piece. Ore first, then timber and charcoal, then the bar ladder from Steel to Dragonite, and finally the masterwork itself. Mining, Woodcutting, Firemaking and even a Thieving mark all feed the same furnace.

Quest 5 pays out the Forgemaster's Ring (+10% Smithing XP) to carry you through the rest of it.

🧥 The Smithing Skill Cape — no more failed bars The capstone. While it's worn, Smithing never fails. Not "rarely" — never. That's a straight +25% to everything the skill produces: a quarter more XP per hour, and a quarter more bars and gear out of the same ore.

💎 Diamond Plating A fourth plating step above Gold, at Smithing 99 — and Dragon tier only. A (D) piece takes the (G) version plus diamonds equal to its bar count, from one for a dagger up to five for a platebody. Sirius Destiny takes ten, which makes it comfortably the most expensive thing anyone will ever make.

💠 Gem cutting — Topaz finally does something Three of any gem now cuts up into one of the next gem: Topaz → Sapphire → Ruby → Emerald → Diamond. Topaz has sat in your bank as a 1gp vendor item since launch; now it's the bottom rung of a real ladder, and it's what makes diamond plating reachable at all. Converting up costs you value on the way — that's deliberate — but it means the choice is yours to make.

🧪 Forgemaster's Infusion, reworked The potion used to guarantee smithing success. The cape does that permanently now, so the potion would have become dead content. Instead it moves to output: +25% chance to double whatever you forge, for its ten charges. Bank them for the run that matters.

500 gems are waiting in this entry — thanks for playing.

Aug 6, 2026: The Runecrafting Carnival Is Open

A server-wide community goal · every rune counts twice · 2,750 gems on the personal ladder · 1,000 gems already in your account

The Carnival is a new kind of event: one counter the whole server feeds together. Every rune anyone binds is added to a single shared total — and when that total crosses a milestone, the reward switches on for everybody at once, permanently, for the rest of the event.

The shared ladder makes the game better for everyone The community bonuses are the point. Cross 100,000 runes and every player alive starts getting +1 rune per craft. Cross 500,000 and it's +2. There are ten milestones, and the big ones reach past Runecrafting — faster Mining, +25% Runecrafting XP, and at 800,000 a +10% XP boost to every skill in the game.

Because those bonuses make everyone craft faster, the community's own progress is what drives the counter forward. The further you all get, the further you get.

Your own ladder is pure gems Alongside the shared goal there's a personal ladder, and it pays gems and nothing else — 50 at the first rung, climbing by 50 each step, up to 500 at the top. 2,750 gems if you clear all ten.

Bind 1,000 runes to qualify That's about twenty minutes. Once you're past it, every shared reward the community unlocks is yours — including the ones unlocked before you got there. Nothing is missable as long as you qualify.

The Prize Stall is open too A limited stall in the Shop for the duration: cheap Rune Essence, Elemental Infusions to push your contribution, and Carnival Caches. It closes when the Carnival does.

1,000 gems, on us Already added to your account — no button to press, nothing to claim. Thanks for playing.

The Carnival runs until 14 August. Rewards you've earned stay claimable for a week after that, so a late finish never costs you anything.

Aug 2, 2026: Sorry — The Game Was Down

A wrong build went live for about an hour · your progress is safe · claim 2,000 gems

Earlier today the wrong build went live. For roughly an hour, anyone who opened DragonScape Idle got an old, broken version of the game instead of the real one — missing skills, missing gear, and a lot of "where did my character go".

That was our mistake, not yours. The correct build is back up.

Your progress is safe — we checked Every account was audited against its own backup history before we said a word. Nothing was lost. No XP, no gold, no gems, no items, no quest progress, no pets. If it looked like the game had eaten your character during that hour, it hadn't — the wrong version simply couldn't read your save properly. The moment the real build came back, everything was there.

What actually happened An outdated build was deployed over the live one by accident. The game takes an automatic snapshot of your save every hour, and those snapshots are what let us prove everyone came through intact rather than just hope so.

What we're changing Releases now go out only from an isolated, verified copy of the game, so a stale build can't reach you by accident again.

Here's 2,000 gems for the hour of confusion. Thanks for being patient with us — and for sticking around.

Jul 29, 2026: Update — Auto-Buy Bait & Potion Pause

Fishing never idles on empty bait · pause a potion without burning it · see when materials run out · claim 1,000 gems

Three things that were quietly costing you hours.

🎣 Auto-Buy Bait A new permanent upgrade in Shop → Permanent (1,000 gems). Run out of bait mid-session and your hero used to just… stop. Now it buys another pack of the right bait and keeps fishing — while you're playing and while you're offline.

You stay in control of the wallet: tick which bait qualities it's allowed to buy (Basic / Premium / Ultra). It takes the best one you can afford and drops to a cheaper one when you can't. Tick nothing and it never spends a coin. Switch the whole thing off whenever you like.

🧪 Pausing a potion no longer wastes it Turning a potion off used to throw away every charge left in the bottle. Now those charges are banked — the bar shows how many are waiting, and hitting Resume picks up exactly where you left off. Swap buffs between skills as often as you want; it costs you nothing.

📊 Know before you run dry Any skilling action that eats materials now shows how much you have left, how many actions that's worth, and roughly how long until it's gone. No more coming back to a hero that stopped twenty minutes after you left.

🚪 The door is open No access code any more. Anyone with the link can walk in and start playing — so if you've been waiting to drag a friend into this, now's the moment. (It's still beta, and saves still get reset before launch.)

Here's 1,000 gems — go buy the bait bucket.

Jul 27, 2026: Update — The Gear Screen, Rebuilt

Paperdoll layout · see every bonus and where it comes from · preview a swap before you make it · claim 300 gems

Your equipment screen has been rebuilt from the ground up. Same gear, same bonuses — you can finally see them.

🧍 A proper paperdoll Every slot is laid out on the character, not buried in a list. One glance tells you what's equipped, what's empty, and how many slots you've actually filled.

📊 Every bonus, and where it came from Your stats are now grouped into Offensive, Defensive and Other — and each one shows which items are producing it. No more wondering where that +12 came from.

👀 Preview a swap before you commit Hover any item in your bank and the stat panel shows you the result before you equip it: old → new, with every line that changes highlighted. Swapping gear is no longer a guessing game.

⬆️ Upgrades you own The screen now tells you when something better is already sitting in your bank. If it says "Best-in-slot everywhere you own gear", you're done — go earn something new.

🔍 Find things again Search by name, filter to a single slot, and sort by best, owned or A–Z.

Here's 300 gems for the trouble of re-learning where everything is.

Jul 25, 2026: Update — The Thieves' Guild

Lv99 Thieving guild · rob the Vault Keeper · ring, offhand & Skill Cape · game notifications · claim 500 gems

Reach Thieving 99 and a door that was never there before opens: the Thieves' Guild is recruiting, and the Thieves' Guild Trials — a 20-quest chain — decide whether you're worth the ink in their ledger.

🏦 The Vault Keeper Prove yourself and the Guild points you at the richest mark in the game: the Vault Keeper. Nobody said it would be easy — this is the first target that can still catch a level-99 thief — but the vault pays like nothing else: pure coin, sealed pouches, bearer's bonds and ledger pages by the sackful.

💍 New thieving gear Thieving finally gets more than gloves:

  • Guild Signet Ring — earned in the Trials. +20 Stealth, and the Vault Keeper is exactly the mark it matters against.
  • Vault Keeper's Coinpurse — a rare unique from the Vault itself. The only coin multiplier in the game: +25% coins from every steal.
  • Thieving Skill Cape — the Trials' capstone. +15% Thieving XP, for whatever you still have left to prove.

🔔 Game notifications Opt in under Settings → Notifications and the game can tap you on the shoulder: when a quest is ready to hand in, or when your hero has gone idle and is standing around doing nothing. Off by default, entirely your call.

Here's 500 gems for the guild's initiation fee.

Jul 24, 2026: Event — The Beastmaster's Trials

A travelling menagerie, 8 trials, 188 pet shards · a brand-new event map · claim 500 gems

A painted caravan has pitched camp outside the Vale, and the Beastmaster is running eight trials — one for each beast in the menagerie. Clear them all and you walk away with 188 pet shards.

One beast per trial Every trial is tied to a different pet, and finishing it pays that pet's shards. Timber, Rocky, Gil, Basil, Ember, Pip, Sooty and Sage are all on the list — so this is a chance to push a pet you've been neglecting toward its next star.

Every quest pays shards You don't have to finish a whole trial to be rewarded. Every single quest pays pet shards along the way, and each trial's final quest pays ten times as much. That last quest is also the hardest one in its trial — bring supplies.

A new map for events The Event tab now has its own illustrated map, just like the episodes. Eight trail markers wind up through the menagerie's camp, showing what's done, what's next, and what's still locked. Prefer a list? The map/list toggle works here too.

A proper spread of work No trial is a single-skill grind — each one moves you across seven to twelve different skills, from the treeline to the forge to the rune altar. Your trials progress in the background while you play, right alongside your normal quests.

⏳ Two weeks only. The caravan packs up on 7 August and the trails vanish with it, so don't leave the last trial too late.

Here's 500 gems to get you started.

Jul 22, 2026: Events — Boneyard Bounty & Night of the Restless Dead

Two new Prayer events, back to back · double bones from every kill · faster burying · claim 1000 gems

Prayer gets its first events — and they run back to back, so the first one stocks you up and the second one helps you burn through the pile.

⚰️ Boneyard Bounty — live now, for 4 days The battlefields give up their dead. Every foe you kill drops twice the bones, all the way from Small Bones up to Dragon Bones. Nothing else on the drop table changes — this is bones only, so it's the cleanest time there's ever been to stockpile for Prayer.

💀 Night of the Restless Dead — starts when Boneyard Bounty ends The barrows stir and the soil turns easily. Burying is 20% faster and pays 20% more Prayer XP for four days. Bank your bones during the first event, then bury them through the second.

Both events show up on the Events tab with a live countdown, and their bonuses apply automatically — nothing to activate.

Here's 1000 gems to see you through the vigil.

Jul 21, 2026: Update — Ossuary Reach & the Clue Booster

A new bone-field to survey · ×10 clue scrolls from the Shop · two new potions · expeditions rebalanced · claim 5000 gems

Exploring gets its biggest pass since launch — a new area, a new permanent upgrade, and a much healthier expedition economy.

🪦 Ossuary Reach — a new survey area The barrow-fields are open to surveyors. Ossuary Reach pays out in bones, tiered to your Prayer level, so everything you dig up is something you can actually bury — mostly Small Bones and Bones by the handful, with Dragon Bones as the rare prize. It also carries the highest clue-scroll rate in the game, a chance at the Bone Chest, and a brand-new rare drop: the Grave Charm (+5% Prayer XP, stacks with the Bone Necklace).

🗺️ Clue Booster — new permanent Shop upgrade Nine tiers, from the Frayed Map Case up to The Wayfinder's Eye, multiplying how often you find clue scrolls by ×2 all the way to ×10. It boosts both clue sources — exploring surveys and the Lucky Clue trickle you earn while training other skills — and stacks on top of clue-rate events.

🧪 Two new potions

  • Cartographer's Draught (Lv55) — surveys complete 30% faster, stacking with area mastery.
  • Necromancer's Brew (Lv75) — every bury has a 30% chance to raise an extra bone from any tier you've unlocked. Bury Small Bones, raise Dragon Bones.

⚖️ Expeditions rebalanced Expedition payouts were far ahead of every other skill, so they've been retuned: node XP and chest coins are down, chests now hold one weighted gemstone instead of a pile, and the ore/herb drops are gone — expeditions pay coins, gems and gemstones, not gathering materials. Clues themselves are now much easier to come by to compensate.

Here's 5000 gems to get your map case started — happy hunting!

Jul 17, 2026: Update — Echo the Copy Cat & the Forgemaster

A legendary S-tier pet that copies your XP · a new Lv70 potion for flawless smithing · brewing XP retuned · claim 1000 gems

🐈‍⬛ Echo the Copy Cat — the first S-tier pet A legendary new companion unlike any other. Echo doesn't gather resources — it copies you. While assigned to a mission slot it banks 10–20% of every point of skill XP you earn (training, combat, quests — everything), and pays it all back as bonus XP when you Collect. No income cap, no idle timer — Echo only rewards work you actually did. Its level is capped by your Exploring level, and its shards won't drop from Pet Boxes — they'll come from upcoming quests and events, so keep your eyes on the horizon…

⚒️ Forgemaster's Infusion A new Lv70 Brewing potion for master smiths: a molten draught poured over the anvil so that Smithing never fails — every single bar smiths successfully while it lasts. Brewed from Kwuarm, Avantoe and a generous shovel of coal.

🧪 Brewing retuned Potion XP has been rebalanced to match ingredient difficulty — high-tier recipes now pay dramatically more (Runebinder's, Prospector's and friends got big boosts), and the Crafter's Draught is now available from just Lv5.

🗺️ Quality of life The quest map now remembers your Map/List view choice, switching your tracked quest saves instantly (no more lost progress on mobile), and pet Collect rewards show copied XP with proper skill icons.

Here's 1000 gems to celebrate — spend them wisely!

🖼️ Art on everything All 547 items — every ore, log, fish, potion, weapon and piece of armour — now have their own painterly icon. You'll see them across your inventory, the shop, skill panels, equipment, combat drops, chests and offline reports.

Jul 8, 2026: Update — Mobile UI Overhaul

A big mobile makeover — bottom navigation, bigger text, a compact skills grid, and cleaner combat/quest/inventory screens · claim 500 gems

DragonScape Idle just got a big pass on how it looks and feels on your phone.

🧭 Navigation moved to your thumb The main menu is now a fixed bottom bar — Skills · Combat · Quests · Inventory · More — always within reach. No more scrolling back to the top to switch screens.

🔎 Bigger, clearer text everywhere The tiniest labels across Skills, Combat, Quests and Inventory have been enlarged so everything actually reads on a small screen, and buttons are easier to tap.

🛠️ A tidier Skills screen Your whole skill roster now fits in one compact grid instead of a tall list, with the skill you're on clearly highlighted — leaving far more room for the action panel below.

🎯 Cleaner combat, quests & bag Combat's consumables and spellbook, the quest map, and the inventory sell buttons all got a legibility and touch-target polish.

More screens are getting the same treatment soon. Thanks for testing through the beta — enjoy 500 gems on us!

Jul 7, 2026: Event — The Grand Survey

A 2-week cartographers’ festival: 10 survey trails, 100 quests, a clue scroll from every one · claim 500 gems

The Cartographers’ Lodge has opened a limited-time festival — chart the wilds and every leg turns up an old clue scroll.

🎟️ Find it on the new Event tab A brand-new 🗺️ Event tab sits next to Quests and the Weekly Board while the festival runs. It shows a live countdown to the finish.

🧭 Ten survey trails, one at a time Ten themed trails of 10 quests each — 100 quests in all. Finish one trail to unlock the next, so there’s always exactly one to chase. Best of all, the event runs alongside your normal quest — it ticks up in the background (even offline) while you play, so you never have to choose.

📜 A clue scroll from every quest Every single quest rewards a Clue Scroll, and the rarity climbs as you go: Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic, with an Epic Clue capping every trail. Feed them into Exploring’s Expeditions for the loot.

⏳ Two weeks only The Grand Survey is live for two weeks — when the countdown ends, the trails pack up. Requires the Exploring skill (complete The Cartographer’s Summons to join).

Four survey areas across the frontier, a brand-new Charm gear slot, and unique charms for Mining, Cooking & Farming · claim 500 gems

The Exploring skill grows up: what was a single site is now a four-area frontier, each themed to a different gathering skill.

🗺️ Four survey areas

  • 🌲 Gloomwood (Lv 1) — woodcutting logs
  • ⛏️ Hollowdeep Mine (Lv 15) — ores
  • 🍲 Emberhall Ruins (Lv 30) — cooked provisions
  • 🌻 Thornfield Estate (Lv 45, Episode IV) — rare herb seeds for Brewing, plus the occasional Herb Sack (open it for a random herb!)

Each new area surveys richer rewards, grants more Exploring XP, and has a slightly higher clue rate than the last.

🪬 New Charm gear slot A brand-new Charm slot joins every skill's loadout — a trophy slot that never competes with your existing gear.

✨ Unique area charms Rare finds from the new areas, each boosting its skill:

  • 💎 Geode Charm — −5% Mining interval
  • 🔥 Ember Charm — +5% Cooking XP
  • 🌸 Bloom Charm — +5% chance to double a Farming harvest
  • Your trusty 🌱 Sapling now lives in the Charm slot too.

Jul 3, 2026: Patch 1.50.1 — Pet Keys Fixed

Yesterday's 10 Pet Keys didn't always reach your bag — they've now been added to every account automatically. Check the Pets tab!

The 10 Pet Keys from the 1.50 update didn't reliably land in some players' bags. Sorry about that!

✅ Fixed automatically Your 10 Pet Keys have been added straight to your account — no claim button needed. Open the 🐾 Pets tab and use the 🗝️ Key button on the Pet Box to spend them.

No action required — just enjoy the keys!

Jul 3, 2026: Patch 1.50 — Stability & Anti-Cheat

Combat, cloud-save and pet fixes, leaderboard anti-cheat, and performance improvements under the hood · claim 10 Pet Keys

A behind-the-scenes update focused on reliability, fairness and performance. No new content this time — just a sturdier game.

⚔️ Combat reliability Fights now resolve exactly once per hit. Fixes a rare edge case that could double-count quest progress or re-roll a fight's outcome.

🏆 Leaderboard anti-cheat Rank submissions are now validated against your real save, closing a loophole that let scores be forged.

☁️ Cloud-save hardening Save upgrades now apply consistently when loading from the cloud — the same path guests already used — for safer cross-device sync.

🐾 Pet roster integrity A corrupt save can no longer fabricate pets or deploy the same pet twice. Your roster stays exactly as you left it.

⚡ Performance Gear is only re-checked when you level up (not every tick), combat and thieving trigger far fewer re-renders, and debug logging is stripped out of the live build. Smoother on long idle sessions and older phones.

🧹 Cleanup Removed unused legacy market code under the hood.

🗝️ 10 Pet Keys have been added to your account automatically — see the Pets tab.

Jun 24, 2026: Patch 1.43 — Dungeon Progress Saved

Leave a dungeon mid-run and pick up right where you left off · works for every dungeon · claim 500 gems

🗿 Your dungeon run is no longer lost Reach Wave 8/10, then head off to chop trees or mine ore? When you come back, the dungeon resumes from exactly where you left off instead of resetting to Wave 1. No more re-clearing the early waves every time you switch activities.

▶️ Just tap to continue A dungeon with saved progress shows your current wave (e.g. "Wave 8/10") and a Continue Dungeon button — tap it and you're straight back in the fight. Want a clean run? Open Dungeon Info and hit Restart from Wave 1.

✅ Works everywhere This applies to every dungeon — Timberfall, Stoneheart, Aether Sanctum, the Senshi Trials and beyond. Your progress survives switching skills and closing the game. (Falling in battle still sends you back to Wave 1 — survive to keep your streak!)

🎁 Claim 500 Gems below!

Jun 23, 2026: Patch 1.42 — Offline Fixes & One-Tap Quests

Offline progress no longer lost when your PC sleeps or the window is covered · quest taps now start the activity · claim 500 gems

⏳ Offline progress, fixed If you left the game running and your PC locked, went to sleep, or the window got covered by another app, your away time could vanish — the game thought it was still active but earned nothing. Now the clock stops the instant the game actually stops running, so your full offline time is counted when you come back.

🎯 Quest taps now start the activity Tapping a quest objective used to just take you to the right screen. Now it starts the activity for you — so "tap the quest and walk away" really trains while you're gone. Combat targets scroll into view and highlight, and with Auto-Eat on the fight even starts automatically.

📱 Playing across devices Open the game on a new device and the old one now shows a clear "Game active on another device" screen instead of quietly fighting over your save. Tap Play here instead to take back over.

Jun 23, 2026: Patch 1.41 — Smithing Gloves

New Smithing Gloves refund your bars · Treasure Hunt dungeon event · mining node fix · claim 500 gems

The skilling-gloves family welcomes its smithiest member yet — plus a treasure-hunting dungeon event and a mining fix.

🧤 New — Smithing Gloves Equip them in your Smithing hands slot for a 20% chance to refund the bars you forge or plate with — turn those saved bars straight back into more gear. Like every glove they also grant a passive +5% Smithing XP just by being worn. Grab them in Shop for 500 gems (5,000 charges), with a toggle so you can save the procs for the batches that matter. (Smelting only consumes ore, so it never spends a charge.) (Own Kalle's Permit from Episode II? The Gloves Discount drops them to 400 gems.)

🏆 New Event — Treasure Hunt A fresh limited-time dungeon event: clear any dungeon and pocket double the completion chests. Stack up that loot while it's live!

⛏️ Mining node fix Fixed an issue where mining a finite Silver, Gold or Dragonite node with an XP boost active could hand out more ore than the node actually held. Deposits now yield exactly their charges.

Jun 21, 2026: Patch 1.40 — Gem Jewelry

Craft gem rings & necklaces · "Recommended" gear tags · smarter shop buying · claim 500 gems

Turn those expedition gems into real combat power. The Crafting skill gains a brand-new Jewelry tab — set rubies, sapphires and emeralds into silver and gold to forge rings and necklaces for every fighting style.

💍 Six new craftable pieces

  • ❤️ Ruby → Melee · 🔷 Sapphire → Magic · 💚 Emerald → Ranged
  • Each comes as a Ring (+8) and a stronger Necklace (+12). Wear the matching pair across your ring and neck slots for a full +20 to your style.

🔮 A real use for your gems Gems from expedition chests finally have a purpose. Combine them with Silver & Gold Bars to forge your jewelry — rings from Crafting Level 40, the stronger necklaces from Level 60 — and bank serious Crafting XP doing it (up to 63,000 XP for an Emerald Necklace).

⚔️ One ring per build There's no single "best" piece — a fighter wants Ruby, a mage Sapphire, a ranger Emerald. Pick your style and gear up.

🛒 Smarter shop buying The shop now asks you to confirm before you buy — with a quantity slider, quick 10 / 50 / 100 / 500 and Max buttons, and a running total so you always know the cost. If you can't afford something or don't meet the level requirement, it tells you up front instead of failing silently.

✨ "Recommended" gear tags When you equip an item, the picker now highlights the best piece for that slot and your active skill or combat style — no more squinting at stats to find your upgrade.

Jun 19, 2026: Patch 1.39 — The Runecrafting Guild & Skill Cape

Earn the Runecrafting Skill Cape · 20 Guild Trials · Aether Sanctum dungeon · Aetherweave armour set · claim 2,000 gems

The masters of the altar finally have a Guild to call their own — 20 trials, a brand-new dungeon, a full armour set, and the cape that crowns it all.

🧵 Runecrafting Skill Cape The headline prize. Reach Runecrafting 99 and run the Guild Trials to claim the Runecrafting Skill Cape — +1 rune on every craft, stacking right on top of your Runecraft Altar upgrades. The ultimate flex for any master runecrafter.

🏆 Runecrafting Guild Trials The third skill-mastery guild, gated behind Runecrafting 99 — 20 trials of binding runes, clearing the rift, and stockpiling for the Guild's vaults. Work through them all to earn the Skill Cape and a hefty pile of gold along the way.

🌀 Aether Sanctum — new dungeon Where the rift between worlds runs thinnest, raw essence coalesces into guardians. A 6-wave dungeon (requires Attack 50) climbing from Rift Wisps all the way to the Aether Warden, woven from the souls of every rune ever bound there.

🛡️ Aetherweave armour set Five pieces drop from the Aether Sanctum — hood, body, legs, belt and boots — each granting +5 Defense and +5% Runecrafting XP. Don the full set for a steady +25% Runecrafting XP while you grind toward 99.

Jun 18, 2026: Patch 1.38 — Smoother Saving Across Devices

Hop between phone & PC and pick up where you left off · your progress is protected · claim 500 gems

We've reworked how your progress saves and syncs, so playing across your phone and PC just works — and so your progress is harder than ever to lose.

🔄 Play anywhere, pick up where you left off Your save now hands off cleanly between devices. When you start playing on one device, the other gently steps aside ("you're now playing on another device") instead of the two overwriting each other. Tap Play here to switch back any time.

🛡️ Your progress is protected If we ever detect a save from another device that doesn't match — for example, you played offline on your phone, then opened the game on your PC — we now keep it safe and let you recover it instead of silently dropping it. You'll see a calm "your progress is safe" note, and the backup is always available under ⚙️ Settings → Recover backup.

Why we're telling you this This touches the most important thing in the game — your save — so we're rolling it out carefully and watching closely. If anything ever looks off, check Settings → Recover backup first, and let us know.

Jun 16, 2026: Patch 1.37 — Instant Grow, New Brews & Permanent Upgrades

Finish your farm in a tap · 3 new potions · Alchemist's Cache · Cow Skinner

A bundle of farming convenience, three fresh brews, and two new permanent upgrades to sink your gold and gems into.

⚡ Instant Grow — Skip the Wait A new button on the 🌾 Farming panel: spend gems to instantly finish every still-growing patch at once. Great for when you're one harvest away from a quest step.

  • Escalating price each use — 100 → 200 → 400 gems — so it stays a treat, not a crutch.
  • 3 uses per day, resetting at 09:00 UTC (the same daily rollover as the Quest Board).
  • Only shows up when something's actually growing, so you never waste gems finishing an empty field.

🌈 Three New Potions Brewing's lineup grows with three brews aimed at the parts of the game that didn't have one yet:

  • 🔮 Sorcerer's Tincture (Brewing 25) — pick your rune and steep it; activate on Magic for +10% Magic damage per cast.
  • 🌑 Shadowstep Tonic (Brewing 35) — a shadow-steeped draught that grants +30 Stealth while active, so pickpockets land far more often.
  • 🔮 Witch's Cauldron Brew (Brewing 60) — a roiling triple-herb decoction that makes the cauldron overflow: +1 bonus potion on every brew while active.

🧪 Alchemist's Cache — Permanent Brewing Upgrade A new 10-tier line in Shop → ⚡ Permanent. Each tier adds +1 max charge to every potion — so your buffs last longer before you have to re-brew. From the Cracked Vial Rack all the way to the Eternal Cauldron (+10 charges to every potion), bought with gold or gems and gated behind Brewing 5 → 95.

🐄 Cow Skinner — Permanent Cowhide Doubler Also in Shop → ⚡ Permanent: a one-time 1,000-gem purchase (requires Hitpoints 50) that grants +1 extra Cowhide on every Cowhide drop — online and offline. A steady leather supply for all your Crafting.

🎁 Claim 500 Gems below — then go finish that farm!

Jun 16, 2026: Patch 1.36.2 — Seamless Cross-Device Progress

Quest progress now stays in sync between your phone and PC — neither device can roll the other back

Play on your phone, pick up on your PC — your quest progress now follows you cleanly between devices.

🔄 What changed

  • Quest progress is now protected every time the game saves, not just when it loads. Whichever device pushed you furthest in a quest is the one that sticks — a device sitting on older progress can no longer overwrite it.
  • That fixes the "I advanced a quest on mobile, opened my PC, and it showed the old count" reports. Both devices now always keep the furthest progress.

🛡️ Your saves are safe This sits alongside the existing safeguards that already stop your XP and items from ever going backwards across devices. Quest counters now get the same authoritative, never-rollback treatment.

🎁 Claim 500 Gems below — thanks for the bug reports!

Jun 15, 2026: Patch 1.36 — Events & Skilling Gloves

Live timed Events with buffs & travelling shops · new Brewing Gloves · a new Runecrafting potion

A spotlight on the live Events system, brand-new Brewing Gloves, and a fresh Runecrafting brew to go with them.

✨ Live Events Keep an eye on the ✨ Events tab. Timed events roll through on their own schedule and their buffs apply automatically while they're live — no claiming, no setup:

  • ⚡ Skill surges like Woodcutting Frenzy, Mining Surge, Bonfire Night and Runecrafting Boost crank the output, speed or XP of a skill while they run.
  • 🛒 Travelling traders like the Wandering Merchant and the Apothecary's Visit open a limited-time shop tab stocked with arrows, rune sacks, herbs and compost — gone when the event ends.
  • 🗺️ Cartographer's Call doubles your Clue Scroll drops; Double, Double stacks the rewards. Train through them while they're hot.

🧤 New — Brewing Gloves The skilling-gloves family has a new member. Grab the Brewing Gloves in Shop and equip them in your Brewing hands slot: like every glove they give a passive +5% Brewing XP just by being worn, plus a charge-based proc — +1 random herb per brew to keep your potion stockpile topped up. 1,000 charges per purchase, with a toggle so you can save them for the batches that matter. (Own Kalle's Permit from Episode II? The Gloves Discount drops them to 400 gems.)

🌈 New Brew — Elemental Infusion A new Brewing potion (level 40): brew it from Marrentill and Rune Essence, then activate it on Runecrafting for +2 random elemental runes (Air, Water, Earth or Fire) on every craft — and yes, it stacks right on top of the Runecrafting Gloves.

🧭 Explore — Survey the Wilds The Exploring panel has a new Explore tab. Pick an area and run 2-minute surveys for Exploring XP and a roll on that area's loot table — no two areas drop the same.

  • 🌲 Gloomwood — a dark, overgrown forest of logs, bones, Bird Nests and the rare Sapling. Unlocks the moment you finish The Road North, the Episode II finale.

📜 Clue Scrolls & Expeditions Surveying can turn up Clue Scrolls in four tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic. Jun 8, 2026: Patch 1.28 — Greenhouse & Glove Upgrades

Permanent farming yield · Farming Gloves · all gloves grant +5% XP · brewing polish

Farmers and brewers, your setup just got deeper.

🌱 Greenhouse — Permanent Farming Upgrade A new permanent upgrade in the Shop → ⚡ Permanent tab. Each tier adds +1 crop to every successful harvest — at max tier every harvest gives 6 crops instead of 1.

  • 5 tiers: Ramshackle → Sturdy → Glass → Verdant → Everbloom Greenhouse.
  • Bought with gold or gems, gated behind Farming levels 10 → 90, so it scales with you.

🧤 Farming Gloves + Glove XP Boost

  • New Farming Gloves — +2 extra crops per harvest while charged.
  • Every skill glove now grants a passive +5% XP to its skill while equipped — always on, no charges needed, and it works offline too.

🧪 Brewing Polish

  • Every recipe now shows what the potion does and how many charges it lasts, right on the card.
  • Brewing herbs are now clearly labeled (e.g. Marrentill Herb) so they're easy to tell apart from their seeds.
  • Recipe costs, brew time, and XP have been rebalanced for a more meaningful potion economy.

Jun 7, 2026: Patch 1.27 — Brewing!

A whole new skill · 6 potions · offline buffs · auto-chaining · the Brewer's Awakening quest line

The biggest content drop yet: a brand-new skill that turns your herbs and harvests into powerful, stackable buffs.

🧪 Brewing — A New Skill Unlock Brewing through the Brewer's Awakening quest line (after Farmer's Life) and start mixing 6 potions, each boosting a different part of the game:

  • 🪺 Woodcutter's Brew — 2× Bird Nest chance while chopping
  • 🎣 Angler's Tonic — +15% Fishing speed
  • 🔥 Stoker's Elixir — +20% Firemaking speed
  • 📖 Scholar's Tincture — +25% Cooking XP
  • 🧵 Crafter's Draught — +10% chance to double crafted items
  • 🏹 Marksman's Brew — +10% Ranged damage in combat

🔀 Pick Your Ingredients Some recipes let you choose: brew Stoker's Elixir with any log, or Angler's Tonic with any raw fish — higher-tier ingredients go further, so fewer are needed.

💤 Potions Work Offline Buffs now apply during offline progress too — and the Welcome Back screen shows exactly how many charges you spent while away.

♻️ Auto-Chaining Activate a potion and it keeps itself running — when one empties, the next of the same kind is pulled from your stash automatically, until you run out.

🌱 Seeds Come From the World Seeds are no longer bought from the shop. Steal them from the Farmer and Golo the Master Farmer (or find them in Bird Nests), then grow your own brewing herbs.

🧹 Polish & Fixes

  • Quest objectives, side-nav layout, and selector menus cleaned up.
  • Numerous balance and reliability tweaks.

Jun 6, 2026: Patch 1.26 — Runecraft Altar

Permanent runecrafting upgrade · craft more runes per essence · a real gold & gem sink

Runecrafters, your grind just got a serious payoff.

🔮 Runecraft Altar — Permanent Upgrade A new permanent upgrade line in the Shop → ⚡ Permanent tab. Each tier you buy makes every Runecrafting action craft +1 extra rune from the same Rune Essence — so one essence yields more and more runes as you invest.

  • 5 tiers: Cracked → Reinforced → Empowered → Resonant → Eternal Altar.
  • At max tier, a single essence yields 6 runes per craft instead of 1.
  • Bought with gold or gems, gated behind Runecrafting levels 10 → 90, so it scales with you.
  • Stacks on top of the Runecrafting Boost event and your Runecrafting Gloves.

Because it multiplies what you get per essence, it cuts both your mining and crafting time — making high-tier spell supply far less of a chore.

🧹 Polish & Stability

  • General balance and reliability tweaks across the board.

Jun 1, 2026: Patch 1.25 — Mining Guild, Stoneheart Depths & Arrow Recycler

A new Skill Guild · a mining-themed combat zone · permanent ranged upgrades · woodcutting overhaul

The deepest content drop yet — endgame goals for miners, a brand-new place to fight, and a long-awaited quality-of-life upgrade for archers.

🎓 Skill Guilds Arrive — Mining Guild Trials The Quest Map has a new 🎓 Skill Guild tab. Reach level 99 in a skill to enter its guild and chase its Skill Cape. First up: the Mining Guild Trials — a full quest chain that earns you the complete Stoneheart armour set and the Mining Cape.

⛏️ New Combat Area — Stoneheart Depths Descend into a six-stage mining-themed zone, from the skittering Cave Crawler all the way down to the Stoneheart Warden guarding a core of pure runite. Mixed melee and magic foes reward big XP for well-built characters.

🏹 Arrow Recycler — Permanent Ranged Upgrade Tired of burning through arrows? The new Arrow Recycler gives a permanent chance to not consume an arrow on a ranged attack — 5 tiers, scaling from 10% up to 50%. A real endgame sink and a huge boost to ranged sustainability.

🌲 Woodcutting Overhaul The full log roster is in and rebalanced — from Normal all the way up to Elderwood and beyond — on a clean, data-driven tier table with consistent XP and sell values.

🧹 Polish & Stability

  • Quest map reworked with separate Episode and Skill Guild tabs.
  • Item value/effort tables cleaned up and unified.
  • General balance and reliability tweaks across the board.

🎁 Claim 200 Gems below to dive into the depths!

May 31, 2026: Patch 1.24 — Combat Speed Rebalance

Damage no longer depends on swing speed · 50% attack-speed cap · clearer weapon identity

A cleaner, more predictable combat core — your gear now behaves the way you'd expect.

⚔️ Damage Is Decoupled From Attack Speed Your hit per swing now depends only on your level and your weapon's power, not on how fast the weapon swings. Fast weapons swing more often; slow weapons hit the same amount per swing but less frequently. No more hidden double-counting where a slow weapon quietly inflated each hit and you stacked speed on top — DPS is now honest and easy to reason about.

⏱️ Attack-Speed Bonus Capped at 50% Speed bonuses are now capped at 50% per weapon, so no weapon can be pushed below half its base swing time. Fast and slow weapons keep their distinct feel, and the combat loop stays smooth and readable even with heavy speed stacking.

🧹 Polish & Stability

  • Behind-the-scenes cleanup to the combat and remote-config systems for fewer edge cases.
  • General balance and reliability tweaks across the board.

🎁 Claim 200 Gems below to gear up and test the new combat feel!

May 30, 2026: Patch 1.23 — Offline Time Upgrades & Quest Board XP

Extend your offline cap · Quest Board now pays big XP · Forgiving milestones

⏳ Permanent "Offline Time" Upgrades A new permanent upgrade in the Shop's Permanent tab raises your offline-progress cap. The base cap is 12 hours — buy tiers to push it all the way to 24 hours, one hour at a time. Pay with gold or gems, whichever you've got. Twelve tiers in total, bought in order — a real long-term sink for late-game wealth.

📋 Quest Board — XP Is Now the Prize The Weekly Quest Board has been reworked around progression:

  • Skill XP is now the headline reward on every quest — roughly 3× the XP you'd earn just doing the activity. Gems are still there as a bonus.
  • Forgiving milestones: finish 38 of 42 quests to earn every milestone reward. No perfect week required — miss a few and you're still fine.
  • "Reachable so far" marker: a clear line on the progress bar shows how far you can fill it with the days unlocked so far, so early-week progress never looks broken.

📅 More Events Scheduled The event calendar has been extended with a fresh rotation running into next month.

🧹 Behind the Scenes

  • Combat and offline progression got a new regression test suite locking in the online/offline parity fixes.
  • The item sell-value system was rebuilt into a cleaner data-driven model.

May 23, 2026: Patch 1.22 — Permanent Upgrades & Loadout Mastery

New shop tab · Loadout Mastery · Unified Bonuses view · Axe & Auto-Eat moved to shop

A whole new way to invest in your account, plus a smarter way to fight.

⚡ New "Permanent" Shop Tab The shop now has a fifth tab for one-time purchases that permanently boost your account. Three upgrades live there at launch:

  • 🪓 Axe Upgrades — moved here from the Woodcutting panel. Same -5% chop time per tier, same gem cost, just consolidated.
  • 🍖 Auto-Eat — also still buyable in the Combat panel. Buy from either place; once owned, the toggle stays in the Combat panel.
  • 🎯 Loadout Mastery — brand new. See below.

🎯 Loadout Mastery (new) Buy it once for 💎 5,000 and a new Auto ON/OFF toggle appears next to the Attack Style header in Combat. With Auto on, the game picks the combat-triangle-advantage style for you every time you engage a new enemy or a dungeon wave transitions — melee for ranged foes, ranged for magic, magic for melee. Your matching loadout (and gear) switches with the style.

📊 Unified "Bonuses Applied" View The expanded Action Metrics now lists every active bonus affecting the skill in one panel:

  • Equipped gear (per item, with its description)
  • Set bonuses (Timberfall set marker)
  • Permanent upgrades (current axe tier)
  • Active events affecting that skill

Events that don't actually buff the current skill (e.g. Wandering Merchant on Woodcutting) no longer clutter the list, and duplicate event rows are collapsed.

🪓 Axe Upgrades Removed from Woodcutting Panel The buy card is gone from the skill view — the active tier still shows in the Bonuses section, and you can re-buy from the shop. Existing tiers are preserved.

🎁 Claim 5,000 Gems below to try out Loadout Mastery!

May 21, 2026: Patch 1.21 — Quest Switching & Fixes

Switch between quests · Offline fixes · Firemaking unlocks · Easier feast quests

🔀 Switch Between Quest Chains You're no longer locked into one quest chain at a time. Open the Episode map and tap any chain to make it your active quest — even with one already in progress. Only your active quest tracks objective progress, so your goals stay focused, and you can switch focus whenever you like.

⏸️ Paused Quests Keep Everything When you switch away, the previous chain is paused — never reset. Its quest position and every objective counter are saved exactly as you left them, and resume the moment you switch back. Paused chains show a ⏸️ marker on the map, and switching asks for a quick confirmation so you won't change focus by accident.

🌙 Offline Progress Fixes A batch of fixes so offline rewards match what you'd earn while playing:

  • Fixed a clock-sync bug that could occasionally grant no offline progress at all when your device clock differed from the server.
  • Event skill-speed bonuses now apply to offline Fishing, Cooking, and Thieving.
  • Event XP bonuses now apply to offline Thieving mastery XP.
  • Offline Farming now honors crop-growth timing and farming event bonuses (speed & yield).
  • Offline Mining & Woodcutting use the same live-tuned skill data as online.

🔥 Firemaking Aligned with Woodcutting Firemaking burn unlocks were out of step with the logs you cut. Seven tiers now unlock at the same level as their Woodcutting tree — Oak 10, Willow 20, Teak 30, Maple 40, Magic 70, Redwood 80, Elderwood 90. Burn XP and times are unchanged; you just get access sooner.

📜 Easier Feast of the Tides Two grindy steps in The Feast of the Tides have been trimmed:

  • Silver Salt: Mine 20 Silver Ore (was 50), Smelt 10 Silver Bars (was 20)
  • Gold Serving Plates: Mine 20 Gold Ore (was 60), Smelt 10 Gold Bars (was 20)

May 20, 2026: Patch 1.19 — Inventory Rework

Search · Categories · Item names · Bank value · Mining fix

Your bank is finally usable at scale.

🔎 Search A search bar at the top of the inventory filters in real time as you type. Matches both item ids and localized names, so "dragon", "raw", or "bait" instantly narrow the grid.

🗂️ Categories Five tabs above the grid split your bank into Gear, Resources, Food, Misc, and All. Each tab shows a live count so you always know what you have. Gear comes from equipment metadata, Food from healing items, and Resources are auto-detected from the item type.

🏷️ Item Names on Every Tile Each item now shows its name directly on the tile (two lines if needed), in a larger, higher-contrast font. No more guessing emoji at a glance.

💰 Bank Value Header A sticky header at the top of the inventory shows your total bank value in gold and the number of stacks you're holding. It updates live as you sell or pick up loot — a real long-term progress signal.

📐 Better Layout The grid is now 3 columns on mobile (larger, more readable tiles) and 4 columns on tablets and up. Names wrap onto a second line instead of being cut off mid-word.

⛏️ Mining Fix — Silver, Gold & Dragonite Ore Resolved issues with finite-node mining for Silver, Gold, and Dragonite ores so spawns and rewards track correctly online and offline.

🎁 Claim 200 Gems below to celebrate the new inventory!

May 19, 2026: Patch 1.18 — Sell Value Overhaul

Real sell prices · Junk auto-cashed · Better Timberfall Chest · More events

The whole sell economy has been rebuilt — what your loot is worth now actually means something.

💰 Real Sell Values for Everything Previously almost every item sold for a flat trickle of gold. Now every single item has a proper, hand-tuned sell price that scales with its tier and how hard it is to get. Bronze gear stays cheap; Dragon, gilded (G), and event gear are genuinely valuable. Selling your loot is finally a real income stream.

🧹 Old Junk Auto-Cashed Cut/legacy items that can no longer be obtained (old gems, herbs, trade trinkets) are automatically sold from your bank for 5 gold each, one time, on load. No action needed — you just get the gold and the clutter is gone. Your other items are untouched.

🛡️ Exploit-Proofed Closed a buy-low/sell-high loop on Bronze Arrows before it could go live. Sell prices were QA'd against every shop buy price.

🌳 Better Timberfall Chest The Timberfall Chest drop table was rebalanced: the eight junk low-tier logs are gone, replaced with high-tier logs, Ash and Dragon Bones, and the armor odds were raised ~6×. A full Timberfall set is now roughly 150–250 clears instead of 1,500–2,500.

📅 More Events Scheduled The event calendar has been extended with a steady rotation of skill and merchant events running through next month, on a 2-day cadence with 4-day windows.

🎁 Claim 200 Gems below for the new economy!

May 16, 2026: Patch 1.17 — Silver & Gold Armor Plating

Plate your gear · Damage Reduction · Finite ore nodes

A whole new endgame progression layer for Smithing, plus a major Mining rework.

🛡️ Silver & Gold Plating Every smithed armor and weapon can now be upgraded — first to a Silver variant (S), then to a Gold variant (G). Each step boosts the gear's power and unlocks a brand-new stat: Damage Reduction.

  • Armor: more Defense + flat % Damage Reduction
  • Weapons: scaled-up attack power
  • You must craft the Silver version before you can make the Gold one
  • Higher tiers cost more bars — a full Dragon Gold set is a true long-term goal

❤️ New Stat: Damage Reduction Plated armor reduces incoming damage by a flat %. It stacks across every piece — a full Dragon Gold set blocks 14% of all damage taken. It's a new way to survive the toughest fights.

⛏️ Mining Rework — Silver, Gold & Dragonite Nodes These three ores can no longer be mined endlessly. Instead:

  • Silver & Gold: discovered randomly while mining any ore — keep mining and you'll find them
  • Dragonite: dropped by slaying Green Dragons
  • Each find is a single ore — the panel shows how many you have ready to mine

⚔️ Sirius Destiny Can Be Plated The legendary Sirius Destiny now appears under a new "Other" tab in plating — a hybrid upgrade adding both melee power and damage reduction. A worthy chase for the dedicated.

📈 Boosted XP for Rare Materials Silver, Gold, and Dragonite ores and bars now grant 5× the XP, so each rare find meaningfully advances your Mining and Smithing.

🔥 Fixed: Elder Spirit Logs Unburnable "Burn Elder Spirit Logs" was incorrectly hidden when the Hidden Forest event was inactive, stranding stockpiled logs. You can now always burn Elder Spirit Logs you already own, online and offline.

🎁 Claim 200 Gems below to kick off the new grind!

May 12, 2026: Patch 1.16 — The Feast of the Tides

New 27-step quest chain · Chef's Ring · All 16 skills

💎 2,000 Gems across 27 quests Each quest rewards gems as you go, scaling up through five acts of increasing challenge.

How to unlock: Complete the Farmer's Life quest chain first, then find The Feast of the Tides on the Episode 1 map.

May 11, 2026: Patch 1.15 — Offline Fixes & Smoother Updates

Offline event bonuses · Thieving gloves · Reload prompts · Faster startup

This patch focuses on fairness and polish — three offline progression bugs are fixed, the game prompts before reloading, and initial load is meaningfully faster.

🛡️ Offline Combat Now Respects Active Events Previously, event modifiers (XP multipliers, loot multipliers, etc.) were silently dropped while you were offline in combat — only your online sessions benefited. Offline combat now applies the same active-event bonuses as online play.

🧤 Offline Thieving Now Uses Skill Gloves Thieving Gloves were active online but completely inactive offline — no bonus item rolls, no charges spent. They now work the same offline as online, with charges-spent tracked in your Offline Progress popup.

💰 Offline Thieving Gold Includes Event Flat Bonus Events with a thieving gold bonus now apply to offline thieving too. Previously this was online-only.

🔔 No More Silent Reloads When a new version goes live, the game now shows a prompt with [Reload] / [Later] instead of reloading without warning. Cross-device conflicts show a clear banner with a 10-second auto-reload. Your active state is flushed to the cloud before any reload.

⚡ Faster First Load The initial JS bundle is split into separate cached chunks for Firebase, animations, and markdown. Returning players will load much faster after small updates because these libraries stay in cache.

🧹 Behind the Scenes

  • Online and offline progression now share the same modifier code path, eliminating silent drift between them.
  • The save/load core was split into focused modules with golden tests, reducing risk on future saves.

⚖️ Balance Note Skill events that stack a flat bonus AND a multiplier on Mining, Smithing, Firemaking, Crafting, Fletching, or Runecrafting now apply the multiplier first, then the flat bonus (matching how Woodcutting / Fishing / Cooking / Thieving already worked). This is a small reduction for that specific combo on those skills.

🎁 Claim 250 Gold below for playing through these fixes!

Apr 7, 2026: Patch 1.14 — Combat Rework & Greenhide

Melee & Ranged buffs · Magic nerfs · Whetstones · Green D-hide · Fishing balance

⚔️ Combat Rework Melee received a major boost — all weapon type multipliers increased by 20%, and the new Whetstone system adds flat damage per swing. Ranged arrows rebalanced across all tiers. Magic has been rebalanced — spell damage reduced by ~35% with lower rune costs to compensate, plus a small accuracy penalty.

🪨 New: Whetstones (Melee Consumables) Sharpen your blade! 5 tiers of Whetstones add flat melee damage per attack — from +10 (Basic) to +60 (Dragon). Buy them from the Shop or find them as dungeon drops. One is consumed per attack, and the best selected is used first.

🐉 Green Dragonhide Set Craft 4 new Ranged armour pieces from Green Dragonhide:

  • Green D-hide Gloves (Crafting 31)
  • Green D-hide Boots (Crafting 37)
  • Green D-hide Cowl (Crafting 39)
  • Green D-hide Body (Crafting 44)

Leather gear also now gives +1 Ranged bonus.
