"The crowd's really here for your pack," the Wildwarden admits. "Bring your companions up to show-weight — a gilded menagerie shows off its finest beasts." Level your pets to 33.

4. Sigils of Passage

The exhibition beasts travel the vale by warded path. "Death runes for the boundary sigils," Bram says. "They keep predators off the show-route. Craft them well."

5. Stands of Elderwood

The exhibition needs grand pavilions. "Elderwood, planed and polished," the Wildwarden says. "If the gentry want a spectacle, we'll frame the beasts in the finest timber the vale grows."

6. Fittings of Runite

Hinges, latches, rails — the show-pens need a fortune in metal. "Mine the runite," the Wildwarden says. "Nothing rattles, nothing rusts. This menagerie will outlast the nobles who came to mock it."

7. The Gilded Menagerie

The exhibition opens, and the vale's beasts shine — the crowd falls silent, then roars. As the nobles file out, the Wildwarden hands you a velvet purse of binding-shards. "Their patronage, and a gift," she says. "The last of the shards — split between Gil and Rocky. A gilded menagerie keeps every companion at its best."
