Every attempt succeeds 80% of the time, at any level; the other 20% take the time and pay no XP. XP/s here already counts that: XP × 80% ÷ time, before gear, upgrades, events and speed bonuses. Gear with a success bonus closes the gap, and a +20% bonus makes every attempt succeed.

Precious ores (Silver, Gold, Dragonite)

The rows marked cannot be mined on demand. You need a discovered node, and each node gives exactly 1 ore. The Mining screen shows how many nodes you have.

OreHow to find a node
Silver Ore Silver OreWhile mining any ore: 0.25% chance per second to find a precious node. 60% of finds are Silver.
Gold Ore Gold OreWhile mining any ore: 0.25% chance per second to find a precious node. 40% of finds are Gold.
Dragonite Ore Dragonite OreChance per kill: Green Dragon Green Dragon 5%, Blue Dragon Blue Dragon 5.6%, Red Dragon Red Dragon 6.4%, Black Dragon Black Dragon 7.3%

One item per slot — a skill loadout holds exactly one of each, and only one item is tagged for mining in any slot, so this is the complete set.

Notes & Strategy

Silver & Gold nodes — how you actually get them

You don't mine Silver and Gold directly from a rock the way you mine Copper or Iron. Instead, while you're mining any ore, there's a small chance each second to stumble onto a precious-metal node. Find one and it's a single-use pocket: you mine it once, get the ore, and it's gone.

  • Chance to find a node: about 0.25% per second of mining. Because the roll happens every second, slower ores give you more rolls per swing — a 5-second ore is roughly a 1.25% chance each time you finish mining it.
  • Silver or Gold? When you do find a node, the game flips a weighted coin:
    • Silver — 60%
    • Gold — 40% (the rarer, more valuable result)
  • Level needed to keep them: Silver unlocks at Mining Lv 30, Gold at Lv 40. Each node yields exactly one ore.

Because these veins are finite (one ore each), Silver and Gold give far more XP than a normal ore of their tier — that's the reward for the rarity.

Tip: The Prospector's Fortune potion (brewed at Lv 45) adds a flat +10% node-find chance to every mining action — that's a huge jump from the ~1–1.5% you'd see unbuffed. Keep one running if you're farming Silver/Gold.

Dragonite nodes work differently again: they don't come from mining at all — each Dragon kill has a 10% chance to drop one (Mining Lv 85 to mine it).
