1. The Otter Who Won't Be Caught

A sleek otter shadows your every cast, stealing the best of the catch and grinning about it. "That's Gil," the Wildwarden chuckles. "He'll only bond with a warden who can out-fish him. Land a real haul of shark and he'll start dropping you his shards, one trust at a time."

2. Smoke to Share

"Gil judges a warden by their cook-fire as much as their cast," Bram says. "Smoke the shark properly. An otter respects a tidy camp."

3. Keeping Pace with the Pack

5. Into the Black Water

7. Gil the Otter

You land the haul of the season, a net heaving with shark from the deep channel, and Gil erupts in delight, spinning circles around the net before climbing up to sit on your shoulder. He's chosen you. "Well I never," the Wildwarden laughs. "That's the last of his trust. Bond him in the Pets panel, warden — he's yours now."
